List of Carroll Medeiros's Reviews
I am a woman who has been suffering with PCOS since I was a young girl. I have had symptoms since I was 13 and needed help. I went to Dr Medeiros with my mom looking for answers and treatment. She simply suggested I lose weight and for motivation, she said if I lose weight, I could probably get a boyfriend. Thanks for the help and trauma when I was a young teen already suffering from body dismorphia ...
I honestly wish I could give 0 stars. If you’re a fat person, do not go to this doctor. She will just tell you to lose weight instead of addressing your concerns, including casually mentioning weight loss surgery as an option, which is wild. Considering that she herself is not a straight sized woman, it is truly beyond me that she has absolutely no willingness to help fat people, until they lose enough weight to be considered a valid patient in her eyes.
She is great personable made me feel so at ease really educated me on topics I had questions about
I have been her patient for over 22 years. She has always listened to my concerns and handled my care in a respectful courteous manner. She explained all procedures in detail.
Dr Medeiros is the best! She delivered two of my three children and was my OB for all three. She guided me through a challenging first pregnancy with care and answered all of my questions. I looked forward to seeing her for all of my appointments and I highly recommend her !
About 8 years a go....immediately after my IUD was "inserted".... Dr. Madeiros in an alarming unethical manner tells me she perforated my uterus because she couldn't see my IUD strings...I explained I felt no discomfort- but she insisted it was inside my abdominal cavity..... about 4/5 hours later I'd experience a rushed visit to the OR and what it seem at that time an eternity of stressful distress caused by this incident. As I come out of the anesthesia, I overheard two nurses lamenting the fact that I did not have to go through such procedure because the IUD was not inside me. Dr. Madeiros tossed it out along with the applicator and didn't pay attention, and as a result, I had an unnecessary surgical procedure.... I don't like to voice out negative reviews online but about a week ago a close friend had an unethical encounter with this same doctor and I belief her judgement as a professional should be reviewed by her superiors.
She was rude, late and disrespectful. Didnt listen to any of my concerns and didnt seem to care. I changed doctors immediately after the first visit
Dc. Medeiros has been my gynecologist since 2001 when I arrived to USA. She has a wonderful personality and she sincerely cares for her patients. She delivers my daughter 16 years ago and she always asks for my children, what make me feel as part of a big family and not just a number. ( she also remembers everything that we have talked in her office, WOW...) I'll keep her as long as she continues in practice. Thank you Dc. Medeiros
I had Dr. Carroll A. Medeiros and the level of unprofessionalism I received from her was utterly disgraceful for somebody in an OBGYN field. She did not treat my concerns about myself seriously and dismissed them as if she did not believe me. She also spoke to me in a demeaning tone of voice and her condescending facial expressions were present through out the entire doctor's visit. If you are looking for a doctor to make you feel safe and treat you with dignity, Dr. Medeiros is not recommended.
She is a fat shaming tyrant of a Dr. I had PCOS as a teenager and young adult. She told me to lose weight and take birth control to hide my symptoms instead of helping me solve the problem. I had to do my own research because she had little to no knowledge of the disorder. She told me that if I lost weight, then maybe I could get a boyfriend. I got myself a real Dr and now my symptoms are under control.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
