Cristina Toba's Online Review Report Card

She’s very cold and hot. She acts like it’s my issue that I have these problems if you don’t take accountability for not taking meds or something she’ll definitely put you on the spot in the beginning when I first met her she would go through the whole thing., she’s my first psychiatrist since getting out of treatment and I do have to give her some time. I’ve only seen her twice, but you can tell she’s very sharp and you always have to find an answer.

I was her patient for 4 years — I know EXACTLY why her reviews are low in detail but I’ll keep it short. The negative reviews are TRUE. She runs hot and cold. Lacks compassion, poor bedside manner, doesn’t listen, under medicates and very condescending. Sometimes shes nice but it never lasts because she truly runs hot and cold which can be very confusing. (Is this a good md? Is this a bad md?) Nah. She’s bad. Cristina also has a bad reputation at L+M Hospital and a not-so-pristine one in her own office. Several of her MD colleagues that I confided in told me this so I wouldn’t feel like I was the one who was wrong. Would rate zero.

i can second that this is a dangerous doctor — do not let her medicate you if you have bipolar disorder.

If you want mental health help, DONT go see this physician. Lacks bedside manner, especially for a psychiatrist. Always has a condescending tone and has no problem telling you she knows best. Saw her for 2 years and nothing really changed for me In terms of feeling better. The last straw was when I started having trouble sleeping and trouble at work because of the pandemic. Her solution was to send me inpatient however, I did not meet criteria for that level of care ( no suicidality). I did a partial program at RIH instead and realized how competent other psychiatrists can be. Decided it was time to ditch her.

I Highly recommend Dr Christina Toba. I have been to other Drs where I received no help at all. Dr Toba helped me change my life around thank you, dr.

Very sympathetic Dr. Listens, makes excellent recommendations regarding medication. Whatever these negative posts say, they don't seem to be seeing Dr Toba!

I was transferred to her when my previous therapist left, a few days before an appointment I received a call from the office saying she no longer wanted to treat me. Very unprofessional, lacks personality and compassion

Without so much as a 5 minute conversation, she tried to foist me off on another practice. I left the video conference with this person in considerably worse condition than when I started.

She is amazing, highly recommend her to all.

This was first time. The amount of silence was uncomfortable. She was not trained in this country so her English is broken.
