Douglas Anthony's Online Review Report Card

I have never before posted ANY review about any product, service, or provider. That said, I had been a patient of Dr. Douglas for over ten years. Since I was in good health, my interactions with him had primarily been for annual physicals. This month, I e-mailed him, recapping some minor questions from the last couple of years, and asking for a referral to a cardiologist. Here was his response (quote): << 9:35 AM – Response from Douglas Not sure I appreciate the tone of your email but in any case, you can choose a cardiologist of your choice and a new primary care doctor. I will care for you for 30 days for emergencies. We will transfer your records upon receipt of a signed consent. Anthony Douglas, MD I was dumbfounded at his uncalled for, unprofessional response. Not exactly a supportive, helpful, caring stance. In retrospect, I should have changed primary physicians years ago, as he's always displayed a condescending, “I'm the smartest guy in the room” attitude. So it goes.

This Doctor can not be out done. He does something that a lot of Doctors do not do any more. " HE CARES!" I have never experienced a more caring Doctor or staff. Dr Douglas you are amazing and I truly Thank You and love you. May God bless all of your days!

Dr. Douglas is personable, professional, & knowledgeable. He listens to my concerns, complaints, symptoms, & questions then responds with examinations, tests, answers, & solutions. He is the most competent & qualified physician I have worked with in my adult life. I highly recommend his practice.

He is SO personable and nice, very knowledgeable and respectful. He is encouraging of my active lifestyle and is very thorough. I have never hated any doctor I have had, but I have never liked one and I LOVE Dr. Douglas

Extremely unprofessional staff, especially his office manager. She should be fired! Rude, unprofessional and not to be trusted! Go find another doctor for your healthcare!!!

Staff is very unprofessional and rude. I was a patient with Dr. Douglas for over 2 years and in the end he showed that he was not concerned about my health care needs. I would find another doctor before I would ever use him!

To start off, I didn't have to wait long at all in the waiting room, in fact, they took me early! The receptionist was very sweet and nice along with all the other nurses. I waited no more than 5 minutes for the doctor to come into the exam room and he was extremely nice and helpful with all the questions and concerns I had. I definitely recommend this doctor to anyone and everyone!

Absolute garbage. Rude staff manager too. I wish I had researched further and found out he came from a homeopathic school before I wasted time and money on this quack. He brags about being online-savvy (well, he just brags a lot); I would suspect that just the -volume- of reviews for him compared to other, equally-busy doctors implies something fishy as well...

I have never been to a Doctor better than Dr Douglas. Dr Douglas truly cares about his patients. He will spend what ever time necesarry when you have a visit. If you sit in the waiting room over 5 minutes That would be long. I have on several occasions signed in and went straight to my room. I have gone in early and almost been home by my appointment time. If you want a Dr who cares and is very efficent and knowledgeable then go to see Dr Douglas. I saw the other rating that he staff was rude. That simply is not true!! They are always pleasant and helpful. If you can not get along with them then something is wrong with you. I have never found them rude. Thank You Dr Douglas

Bad doctor. Does not believe in blood tests. Told me "all the other doctors around here are raving lunatics." Very egotistical. I wish I had found out beforehand that he graduated from a self-proclaimed "homeopathic" school... It explains everything about his method. I will not be using him again. A doctor that was educated to use (and believes in) fake medicine and wishes to NOT use scientifically proven medical approaches (like those other quote "raving lunatic" doctors do) is not the doctor for me. On the plus side, he is mostly friendly to the patient. His staff however, particularly his "manager," is most definitely not.
