Dr. Philip Rizzuto's Online Review Report Card

Went to see him after reading all the reviews and I was really disappointed. On fist check up after surgery he said I had to wait some time before I could see results. I waited and made another appointment to see him. He said he could tweak my eyelid a little and I will be happy with the results. On the next appt. he kept on telling me my eyes looked beautiful (which they were not, asymmetry was very noticeable but he kept on saying the same thing like I did not have a mirror or a cell camera which showed something different every time I took a picture. At the end he said that he wasnt going to do anything to alter the eyelid which was still dropping just like at the beginning but he tried to convince me that "my eyes looked beautiful" What a waste of money and time not to mention the recuperation time. Very, very disappointed at the results.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rizzuto. My eyelids were almost completely closed. Dr. Rizzuto explained to me that the muscles in my eyelids weren't working. I wasn't expecting to hear that and felt very discouraged. I went for my bilateral surgery not feeling optimistic at all. Before my surgery he was comforting and promised he would raise the eyelids as much as he could, but I would have to be able to close my eyes. I went into surgery thinking my eyes are not going to open enough for me to see clearly. Dr. Rizzuto did an amazing job. My eyes are open!! I was expecting bruising. There was none. He is a great surgeon with exceptional bedside manner. I feel good about how I look now. I highly recommend Dr. Rizzuto for his honesty and professionalism as a surgeon.

Dr Rizzuto performed a blepharoplasty on me in January 2020. I have been extremely pleased with the results. On the follow up visit after the surgery he placed some small injections of Botulism toxin between my eyebrows and at the sides (crows feet area) for maintenance. I was hooked! It’s very subtle but enough to compliment the surgical results and leave me looking refreshed. I’ve never experienced any side effects and each treatment lasts 3-4 months. Dr Rizzuto is a master at improving your look without you ending up looking like you “had work done”. Call his amazing staff, set up a consultation and have a conversation with this talented and dedicated doctor.

As a retired ER RN, I can not recommend Dr Rizutto enough. He is caring, professional, honest and has the BEST bed side manner. I’ve had lower and upper eye surgery by him and am so pleased. Never felt rushed, answered all my questions, and felt completely comfortable calling him after my surgery. Honestly, I wish more doctors practiced with such integrity and kindness. Thank you Phil!!

My visit with Dr. Rizzuto was great he took his time to listen to all my concerns and explained everything thoroughly. I was very pleased and felt very comfortable and confident in the procedure that I was wanting to have done. Also the staff was awesome especially answering all my questions.My eyelid surgery went great and I’m very happy with the results, I would highly recommend Dr. Rizzuto!!

Had both eyelids done because of loss elasticity in my lids. Dr. Rizzuto did a fantastic job, no pain at all from start to finish. I would Highly recommend him, his staff and Rhode Island Surgery Center.

I had Mohs surgery that based on the needed margins left me with a small "crater" near my right eyelid. Dr. Rizzuto did an amazing job closing it and blending the incision with my natural wrinkle line that people who have known me for years can't even tell that I had surgery. Also his office staff did an excellent job navigating thru covid setting up all the appointments. Thank you all.

I needed blepharoplasty revision surgery after a Boston eyelid doctor performed a hack- job that left my eyelids asymmetric. I found Dr. Rizutto after an extensive search. During my consultation he took the time to listen and understand what I needed. He and his assistant Renee' were so comforting. I am 2 weeks post procedure and cannot believe how good my eye looks this early on. The swelling is very minimal. These results are a true testament of Dr. Rizutto’s competency. I wish I had found Dr. Rizutto at the time of my initial blepharoplasty but I am so thankful I found him to correct the mistakes of the other surgeon. After 14 months of staring at my asymmetric eyes (caused from the Boston Dr.) I am finally at peace and so happy knowing my eye is on the healing road to normalcy. If you are considering Dr. Rizutto look no further. He is an amazing person, a skilled surgeon, and a remarkable master of his art. I very highly recommend this extremely competent doctor!
