List of G. Dean Roye's Reviews
Ten years ago, my wife had lapband surgery with Dr. Roye. At first, he was receptive and responsive. After several visits and complaints, Dr. Roye could care less about my wife's pain and complications. As her husband, I have seen how a lapband surgery impacted negatively and emotionally my wife health. Of course, when someone is overweight, weight loss surgeries seem to be a decent solution but Doctors should have more empathy and listen to their patients instead of relying on the desperation of obesity. They should also know that patients rely on them beyond the surgical room walls!
Hands of gold
Couldn't ask for a better doctor!!!
Dr. Roye is one of the best doctors I have ever seen (and I've seen a lot). He is engaging, funny, and compassionate. He truly makes you feel like that you are the only patient he is seeing that day. If he is running late it doesn't matter because he takes the time to explain and ask you questions. I also think that his secretary is a little rude at times and that you are bothering her when you call. I do try to engage her. This is my second surgery with Dr. Roye but he also did a hernia surgery on my husband. My sister had surgery as well with him. He is a God send and has a the best bedside manner I've seen in a long time.
I really like Dr. Roye. He is very thorough and made me feel completly comfortable. Since he is so good it is hard to get an appointment. Also the time in the waiting room is a little long.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
