I have a team at 50 maude st. Sadly Dr skowron,is no longer at that address but bonnie is,and she is a great assistant and doctor /PA .

Typo correction to previous post. License may have been typed incorrectly, but the review is correctly assessed. Care is managed by mutual agreement with the patient. Dictatorships...are not a welcoming part of a caring relationship between Doctor and patient...

When a Doctor [Gail Skowron MD] tells you "it is about me and my Licence" and your health is a secondary concern...as though she's the ultimate person responsible for your health and not you...RUN...she has a very limited practice of around 144 patients when I saw her and I'm sure it's so limited since she has little care in being sure you are at your best, on the top...the reason, she wants that spot. If you are wise you will avoid care from providers who tell you only they can manage your care! PASS THIS DOCTOR BY if you are interested in a collaborative care process. I know I'm responsible for myself Gail, you are there to provide the means. Far too controlling for me!!!

I have been a patient for a number of years. have noticed a significant decline in service in the last couple of years. Most recently went in complaining of low-grade fever, lethargy, head and body aches and brown sputum. I had suggested possible walking pneumonia. I am a distance runner and told her that my race time the day before was more than two minutes slower than my average. i was told "you may be in better shape than the rest of us , but you wouldn't be able to even finish a 5k race if you had pneumonia". I was also told that my lungs sounded clear and a chest x-ray would be a waste of money. She went on to say that my symptoms were probably due to changing my HIV meds 3 months prior to this and switched my meds. After two weeks of no improvement, I went to another doctor and after a chest x-ray it was confirmed that I had pneumonia. This hardly the first misdiagnosis by this doctor but for me it will be the last. I feel she is more focused on her research/students.

Doctor comes in at last two minutes of your appointment after you've spent most of your time with a student. Asks them a couple of questions and sends you on your way, She seems far more interested in the students than the patient . This has happened to me several times. I'm finding a new doctor FAST!

She was one of my three doctores that treated me in RI. Her bedside manner was execellent and her staff is professional and caring.I would recommend her to anyone seeking Educated, up to date treatment on HIV.

Doctor Skowron is by far the most knowledgeable and thorough doctor in her field that I am aware of or who has treated me. Her staff is professional and willing to go above and beyond for the clients. Karen Burke, doctor Skowron's Physicians Assistance is tireless in her efforts to support doctor Skowron and they share the same desire to see their patients improve and/or maintain their health. I highly recommend Doctor Skowron, and some of my friends have begun treatment with her and have left their previous doctors.
