What a wonderful, kind and patient Dr. He took such time and care to explain everything to my 89 year old mother. She already loves him and feels very comfortable with him. At her age, that means something. I would definitely recommend him.

I really enjoyed meeting the doctor and his staff. Everyone was very nice, he had a great sense of humor and bedside manner. I entrusted him with my care and surgery and he did not let me down.

Dr. Wharton is a great doctor. Takes his time and listens. What doctor today takes you in there office to speak to you after the exam? He does and it is so refreshing. Staff, not so good. Plan on waiting for appointment no matter what time you have. Always late.

Put my life and that of my unborn baby in danger at 32 weeks gestation when he would not believe that something was wrong when I presented at the ER barely able to stand up and complaining of unbearable pain, with an elevated white blood count. Then after it was determined (by an internist from RI Hospital) that I actually had appendicitis and had to have emergency surgery, he came into my room and told me that he would not believe it was appendicitis until he saw the pathology because I didn't present "classic" symptoms. Like it was all somehow my own fault that this happened. I saw the pathology. It was acute appendicitis. There was no trust and a cynicism that I was overreacting because I was pregnant.

A very professional atmosphere in which you feel well taken care of. I felt very comfortable having my surgery and was treated with respect and kindness. I would recommend this doctor to my friend and family.

After ten years with this doctor I have to say I'm very dissapointed in him. He could care less about me as a patient and does not seem the least bit interested in helping me with my problem.

dr warton delivered one of my babies. he was very personable and friendly in the delivery room and used humor to keep me calm
