Dr. Howard P. Safran saved me! I was diagnosed with Stage4 Gallbladder cancer which had metastasized to my lymph chain. This was in 2009 at the age of 54. I went for therapy for 8 months, 3wks in one wk.off. I had gone to Fain treatment center on Summit St. in Providence. Going through late Stage Cancer with Dr. Safran as your General in your WAR is extremely comforting. God Bless him in his extremly difficult task..

He is a wonderful doctor always has a smile and takes the time to explain everything to you he is our hero saved my husbands life a few times by catching the cancer early he will always have a special place in our hearts dont ever change Dr. Safran your the greatest

Dr. Safran treated my mother for liver cancer. He is extremely knowledgeable and very nice. Treating the elderly isnt easy - he does a wonderful job.

He was amazing with my father. He had no problem that there was always someone in with my father, sometimes two of us. He was amazing with all of us. He was blunt but compassionate. He didn't sugar coat things, but was always honest and kind when talking to us about things. He even gave us his own opinion if it was him what he would do. He even re-evaluated his own opinion when it seemed the chemo and radiation did it's job.

Dr. Safran is a wonderful oncologist. He has extensive expertise in pancreatic cancer, which I'm being treated for. He is very thoughtful and kind and takes the time necessary to explain treatment options. I opted for a clinical trial he is in charge of. I've been very happy with both Dr. Safran and the RI Cancer Center in East Greenwich.

Our experiences with Dr Safran and his staff were very reasuring, caring and honest. Although it was a very difficult time, he and his entire staff did their very best to keep us updated with my husband's condition, needs and realistic hopes. I would highly recommend Dr Safran and his team!

I started treatment with Dr. Safran after being diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, which originated in my colon. He was thorough in his explanation of what my disease was and what needed to be done to stop the growth and spread of the cancer. After a year of treatment, my cancer is in remission. Dr. Safran and his staff were very encouraging and helpful in navigating me through a difficult year. I highly recommend him as a doctor.
