Mark Paulos's Online Review Report Card

Dr Paulos is extremely narrow minded. Absolutely not willing to listen to a patient. Treats numbers not symptoms. Behind the times and not willing to research alternative / new methods of treatment.

He gets two stars due to his offices are clean and staff helpful and kind. If it were based on him alone? Sorry he gets zero stars. He does NOT listen. I constantly feel like I have to beg for treatment. At the end of the appointment yea sure he will ask if I have any questions. But why bother asking them as he either says no or shoots them down.

I gave a rating of two stars only because his office is clean and his front desk staff are nice. I do not like him. I feel like I have to beg for proper treatment. I have been patient and understanding and made many compromises. I hate to use a strong word but he is very dictatorial. At our appointments he ask if I have any questions. Yes I do but I gave up ever asking cuz he always shoots them down and we have to do things his way.

My appointment with Dr. Paulos was unrushed and very informative. He took the time to listen and answer my questions. He was polite, patient, reassuring pleasant and professional. I was impressed with that fact that he cleaned his stethoscope with alcohol before using it. This doesn't happen elsewhere nearly enough. The office is very clean and welcoming. The staff is polite and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Paulos and the Miriam Hospital Men's Health Center.

Horrible experience. I came to him with low testosterone symptoms and he refused to actually look at my symptoms. He just read the blood work and told me it was fine for a 22 year old to have low 400 ng/dl testosterone levels. I go to another doctor and I was told it is quite common for men to need testosterone therapy even if they are in the low-normal range. Dr. Paulos seemed to just not care. He failed to notify me of blood results on the day he claimed he would. I had to call and leave three messages to get him to respond two weeks later. One of the most impersonal and unprofessional physicians I have ever had.

Dr. Paulos is a caring, understanding and compassionate doctor. I have RSD in my left foot which causes pain 24/7. Dr. Paulos was one that I felt comfortable with and he alway put my well being first. You are truly missed here in Pittsburgh, RI sure is lucky to have him as part of the medical staff he is working with now!! ??

I have been receiving treatment from Doctor Paulos for over ten years. I am 73 years old and have had many doctors in my lifetime, Doctor Paulos in my opinion has been the best. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and always takes time to explain everything about your condition. You never have to wait long for information or follow-up on tests. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I AM 73 YRS OLD AND HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PCPs IN MY LIFETIME. DR. PAULOS HAS BEEN THE BEST AND MOST CARING. HE DOES A VERY THOROUGH EXAMINATION AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING TO HIS PATIENTS IN LAYMAN TERMS. HE NEVER LETS A PATIENT WAITING FOR RESULTS. AS SOON AS HE RECEIVES THEM HE LETS HIS PATIENT KNOW. HE ALSO HAS AN EXCELLENT STAFF. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dr. Paulos, in my opinion is one of the finest dictors in pgh. He interacts so well with patients. I am lucky to have found him. He takes his time with each and every patient. I would recommend him whole heartedly

Dr. Paulos has been my primary care doctor for more than 10 years. He is a wonderful doctor who listens and takes his time with you!!!! He's never in a hurry. He never sends you for test that are not necessary. He gets the job done!He is a very careing intelegent doctor. My husband and adult sons also love Dr. Paulos. His staff is totally wonderful as well.
