List of Nabil Toubia's Reviews
This gentleman is an awesome doc! I have him in my corner and I am proud to say so!
Poor communication skills by front desk staff, they are very rude and act like you are bothering them when on the phone with them, while in the meantime your in pain constantly and just need an appointment with a GI doctor, it’s been 5-6 attempts with his front desk staff just to get a call back from a scheduler to get a procedure appointment, not sure if that’s on the staff as well just to be fair, but very rude they were on the phone to me. As far as the doctor Toubia goes he’s very nice and a good doctor and sadly I believe he’s completely unaware of how unprofessional his front office is or it maybe just one bad egg on the phones. I would love to talk with someone about this. Thank you!!!
I was very anxious about seeing a new Dr., and he made feel like there was nothing to be anxious about. He was extremely informative and communicated the action plan clearly. He started by asking me a couple of up front questions that really helped us to identify most appropriate next steps. I will also add that the front desk girls and nurse were very nice and helpful, and there was hardly any wait time at all which I find to be rare at Dr. offices. Highly recommend!
Great doctor. I felt very at ease with colon screening. This was quite awhile ago. Just forgot to leave a review!
Nice guy busy office can be frustrating they do this every day all day long just wish there was some more bed side manner at Rodger willams don’t think it’s Anyones fault
Dr Tubia and his staff were incredible at Roger Williams Hospital.. from his personality to the the explanation of the procedure. I would highly recommend getting your colon screening from him. Visited on 04/26/22.
I am not sure what these other negative reviews are about, but I had a great experience with Dr. Toubia. He did my upper endoscopy procedure and before we started he spoke to me about what he was looking for. After, he came over while I was in recovery to see how I was feeling and went over a bit of what he saw. I then had an appointment over the telephone with him to speak about my results and he broke it down and explained exactly what it was and how I needed to treat. Super nice and understanding.
Very accommodating, professional and kind. I highly recommend!
Worst experience I have had so far with the US medical system and Dr Toubia. I had a scheduled appointment, to which the Dr was close to 1 hr. late. The nurses stalled and made excuses. Dr Toubia arrived, spoke to me for 90 seconds and said I needed a procedure, based on what he had received in the notes, I asked why I was even at the appointment if that was the case, he said he wasn't sure. I was then told the procedure would be covered by insurance, then I received a note saying it would be between 2-4k to have this done. I was not in a financial position to have the procedure. So I declined, no problem.. 2 weeks later I received a $224 fee for the "consultation" yes the 90 seconds of inaccurate info that could have been sent to me. I went on to refuse payment for this, the Dr and charter medical associates demanded they received their payment. The nurses refused to let me speak with the doctor at any point in my follow ups, to ask the simple question! Today 7 months on I have finally bit the bullet and paid for the non service that I received. After appealing and being rejected by the medical mafia, I hope all are aware of this poor experience.
Honestly at first- I was frustrated. Then after seeing all they have to do, and how much behind the scenes things go on. Especially in the Surgical Unit! I thank Courtney & Erin so very much for dealing w/me and all my calls and questions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
