List of Ritesh Rathore's Reviews
Dr.Rashid and his staff were fully unprepared to help a newly diagnosed cancer patient in pain, confused and with a lung slowly filling with fluid because it was the holiday season and he couldn't be bothered to do his job. His staff was unprofessional and mishandled paperwork. He changed his treatment plan abruptly, without warning and without explaining why, leaving his patient confused and frustrated. When approved family members attempted to call for clarification, we were told he would only call one person back. So our plan to have the patient only need concern themselves with prescription refills was unable to work. As it is, this doctor never called anyone back at all, not even to schedule a fluid removal from a cancerous lung. This patient ended up being readmitted to the hospital after waiting for Dr.Rathore for 3 days. Seeing doctors who quickly provided pain relief, a clear treatment plan and a regularly scheduled drainage of lung fluids really brought home how horrible our treatment was at this facility. It was like being in a 3rd world country and the lack of respect given to the patients and their family when they have just been delivered a life altering diagnosis was just unacceptable.
Dr Rathore has a very quiet peaceful demeanor. He asks questions and listens to answers. He associates patients life with treatments and conditions. He prescribes accordingly. I highly recommend him
I was referred to Dr. Rathore after my surgery in May 2020. I had a radical orchiectomy to remove the right testicle where a cancerous germ cell tumor was present. I see him for routine surveillance visits now as I am in surgical remission (every few months currently). He is very knowledgeable, professional, humble, and on your side all of the way. I am extremely thankful and grateful to have such a great doctor. He is one of kind!
I find this physician to be patient humble and kind- I have had the opportunity to meet him while guiding a friend to make his decision on treatment- each time Dr R has made it clear and simple for us to understand and patient in answering all of our questions. A true professional with a heart.
Dr. Rathore is a great doctor. He is known to be very smart in the local community and it's absolutely true. He is very caring but firm when he needs to be. I see him for a rare disease that only cancer doctors treat. Recently, something was wrong. My other doctors in RI didn't know anything. I came in with a list of symptoms and Dr. Rathore knew immediately what was wrong. He set me on the right path medically and I started feeling better in 24 hours. Every day I feel a little better. I would still be suffering if he didn't help me. I wish all my doctors were as good as Dr. Rathore
I have been seeing Dr. Rathore from 2011. He has a nice bedside manner and does not rush. He always explains my problems and answers my questions. I can see he is very compassionate. The office staff are really friendly and call back always. Wait is not too long.
I have been seeing him for 4 years now. He is very thorough and explains my problems in detail every time. I trust his care totally.
My family doctor sent me for my lung cancer treatment. This was a really tough fight for me. Dr. Rathore and his team really did agreat job.
Good experience with great knowledge and explained very much about myproblems; staff were very helpful with my scheduling and peescriptions
I would not recommend Dr. Rathore or the Roger Williams Cancer Center to anyone. I am always treated like an inconvenience, my concerns and requests for help with chemo side effects are met with annoyance and skepticism. He changes treatment without warning or talking with me first and acts as if I am not smart enough to know anything about my treatment or options. When I call the office for help with side effects, I am met with impatience and sent straight to voicemail.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
