List of Robert B Patterson's Reviews
I had an Aneurysm that was a real worry to me and my wife. I was put at ease from my first visit. The operation was not easy for myself or the doctor and the doctor did a fantastic job. His staff were excellent. I could not recommend Dr. Patterson any higher. The hospital that was used was Mirium hospital in Providence R.I. and that was also a good choice. I have been seeing Dr Patterson now for a couple of years for follow up visits and tests and it has worked out just fine for me and my family. Once again let me say that I could not feel any better about my experience with the docotor and his staff. First rate all the way.
Dr. Patterson and his staff (Erin) went above and beyond to help my husband. They saw him some day we called and was diagnosed with a DVT in his leg. Dr Patterson then sent us to Miriam Hospital for treatment. I can't say enough great things about them....truly saved my husband's life.
Best one i have every had he is honest an cares
Had an appointment with Dr Patterson in the middle of my work day. I set aside 2 1/2 hours thinking that this should be enough time. After sitting in his office for an hour and 15 minutes without being seen I realized that I may be late for my next work appointment. I decided to inquire as to when I would be seen by the doctor. The receptionists appeared agitated that I would ask such a question. The doctor running this late seemed to be the norm for this office. I told them I had scheduled appointments for my work and needed some guidance as to how much longer I would be waiting. I could not leave my clients waiting if I was to be late and I would need to call them to reschedule. Other appointments I had I could not change and had to be there. They nonchalantly said he would be with me shortly. Another 15 minutes and still sitting there I spoke up again asking when I would seen. I thought an hour and a half was too long already. I stated that this was not acceptable and that my time had value. I could not leave my clients waiting. They ignored me. Finally, they called me in!!! I wish these doctors would tell patients up front that they overbook appointments so their patients can schedule their day accordingly or give us the opportunity to seek another physician who respects us and values our time. I am sure he would not tolerate me showing up an hour and a half late for my appointment. Doctors forget we are paying “customers“. Their services are not FREE and they are running a business. How they treat their patients/customers is a reflection of what they think of them and their time. Arrogant physicians have no place in my life.
Arrogant, pompous, condescending, and dismissive with an overinflated view of himself. He lacked empathy and behaved callously towards my concerns. My first and only appointment was so negative I will never return. I waited OVER 1 1/2 hours before being shown into the examination room where I was left to continue waiting! The entire appointment lasted so long that it made me late for my business ...
Arrogant, pompous, condescending, and dismissive with an overinflated view of himself. He lacked empathy and behaved callously towards my concerns. My first and only appointment was so negative I will never return. I waited OVER 1 1/2 hours before being seen. The entire appointment lasted so long that it made me late for my business appointments. I allowed 2 1/2 hours for this visit thinking that it would be adequate time. It was not. I made the “mistake” of questioning how long I would be as I had to return to work. My concern for my time and clients was met with an adverse reaction and dismissive attitude by the staff and the doctor. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable because I dared to question the almighty doctor and his staff! I went to that office for help and did not receive it. I “PAID” FOR THAT APPOINTMENT. That is something they seem to have forgotten. His archaic and outdated attitude towards patients needs to change. It is from another era. I recommend you go to another doctor who will treat you with the RESPECT YOU DESERVE. There are plenty of them who will treat you like a human being. You will not find it in his office!! Considerate, knowledgeable, answers all questions with rush. Excellent follow-up. Literally saved my life.
There were big dogs running freely all over the office and treatment rooms. The staff couldn't care less that I am highly allergic to dogs. I left without seeing the doctor.
Wow what a great surgeon, I had aT I A. he took me in next day and told me all that is involved. Talked over all my options for surgury explained everything. Arranged my surgury next morning and everything went well. Home next day. Thanks for. Pat.
Rude, arrogant, 0 star rating if possible. He performed a phlebectomy & removed greater saphenous on leg 18 yrs ago. Went back recently, multiple issues, dismissive, treated as though I wasted his time. Vascular surgeon who refused to treat me as though my leg swelling, pain and poor circulation/varices was insignificant. Issues at hand were invalid, unrelated and wouldn't waste his time chasing veins. Thankfully there are other amazing MD's in RI! 2 procedures later feel amazing!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
