Dr. Fortuna always went above and beyond while treating my adult children. During my daughter's last days on earth, he came in every day even thought she was officially under the care of her oncologist. He is by far the most compassionate and empathetic doctor one could hope for. Everyone should be blessed to have such a dedicated physician on their team. Dr. Fortuna use to be really good. He has definitely gone down hill. He scolded me for not coming to see him for six months. After he told me six months ago that my labs looked great and to follow up with him in six months. He kept talking about my diabetes. I DON'T HAVE DIABETES!!! BUT if I did, any good doctor who really cares, ALWAYS checks the feet if diabetic patients. Just don't go to him, if you want to receive quality care from.a physician who cares.

This doctor doesnt completely listen to your concerns. Once he finds one thing. He holds onto it even if it has NOTHING TO DO with why you made a appointment. Will make appt for you to see he only for him to ask you less that 10 question that lead nowhere and then ask for you to make another appt. WHY? FIX the issue or give a ACCURATE diagnosis. NOT interested that are a major concern.

I had an injury (ankle and femur) and was able to make an appointment (new patient) within a week. Once there I only waited about 5 minutes after I completed the paper work before being called in (i had a 9:30 appointment). I spoke to the doctor and had time to give a full history and explain my concerns (I did not feel rushed). Right away I had xrays done and within minutes the doctor looked at these and discussed his diagnosis. I was able to ask all the questions I could think of. Dr. Fortuna was very professional and knowledgeable. I was glad that I took a chance and went to Dr. Fortuna despite some of the iffy ratings I saw online.
