the office is so well-run, very kind, friendly and efficient, reflecting Dr.Huott - he is fast, efficient, smart, personable and a skilled surgeon. It's a great place.

Dr. Huott has no confidence in his ability to perform surgery due to my anxiety about the surgery which he told me would be very painful. He would not put me under anesthesia. Told me the mass on my foot was an aneurysm. Would not do an mri when I asked him to. Went to my primary doctor and he told me it was not an aneurysm and scheduled an mri. The results showed several things that it could be none of which was an aneurysm. Brought the results of the mri to Huott and he said nothing to me about the results. What he did say was psychiatric advise to go to a therapist and learn how to cope better with my anxiety and come back when I get that taken care of. Needless to say I got out in my car and just sat there for 15 minutes trying to figure out what transpired and was horrified by what I just heard. I tried to understand why my anxiety (which is perfectly normal) had to do with his ability to do the surgery. He said it would interfere with my recuperation. I dont get it!

Told me I had an aneurysm on my foot. He drained it and said it was filled with blood clots. It filled back up with blood. He told me he would put me under anesthesia and perform surgery to remove it. As he was draining it he hit something hard inside it. Wasn't sure what it was. I asked him to do an mri to find out what it was, was told it wasn't necessary. He then told me to go see my primary and tell him about the surgery. My doctor immediately ordered an mri. Unfortunately it listed 4 different things that it could be. Went back to Huott with the mri and he told me he was not going to put me under and told me he wasn't gonna lie and it would be very painful showing me numerous areas that he would be putting in a needle. I told him I was very anxious about being awake during this. To make a long story short in a nutshell he proceeded to think he was a psychiatrist and lectured me for 15 minutes and told me my anxiety would affect my recuperation and if I banged my foot it would be very dangerous. He then told me to see a therapist to learn how to cope with my anxiety and stress and call him when I'm straightened out and i have less stress in my life (I didnt tell him my stress was due to my mother and 16 year old cat were dying). Needless to say I left feeling pretty horrified and upset. My primary care doctor referred him to me but when I went to see him to discuss the surgery as Huott told me to do he asked me if Huott did an mri I said I asked him and he said no. I voiced my concern about his inconsistency and competence. My primary then said it wasnt an aneurysm and he could refer me to another podiatrist and I said no. Big mistake on my part. The only thing I have to say good about him is I got an appointment at 3 different times within a few days of my call where if I had contacted a good doctor it would have taken much longer.

I was experiencing a lot of pain on the side of my foot due to a virus. Dr. Huott removed it with no pain whatsoever. Very personable doctor and I would highly recommend them.

Highly recommend! I have never felt so confident that a doctor knows what he is doing. Through several different foot-related issues over the past year or so, I have always known I was in expert hands with Dr. Huott. Inevitably, some procedures create unavoidable discomfort, but his experience, energy, and empathy has helped me get through it and even come out laughing. He has always been willing to fit me in and always taken my concerns seriously, and while I look forward to an eventual clean bill of health, I would genuinely miss interacting with him and his practice. I know that finding a good doctor in RI isn’t easy, which is part of why I truly enjoy recommending Dr. Huott to everyone. I hope my experience can help others find the great care that has been so impactful for me.

Do not go see this doctor! He is condescending, rude and interrupts when you are talking. Constantly talked down to me during my visit and then acted like I was at fault. Will never recommend him to anyone. Would give him negative stars if I could! Doctors should be there to listen and be respectful to their patients and what they are going through. He is obviously just in it for the paycheck!Disgusting behavior!!

do not see this doctor???? Does not communicate with people well But if you insist you will be greatly disappointed. A complete waste of time and money.

It is with pleasure that I write this review about Dr. Thomas Huott. Dr. Huott is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very caring toward his patients. Dr. Huott has been my Podiatrist for several years now and I would definitely recommend his services! Recently it was necessary that he perform a surgical procedure and as expected, Dr. Huott did a wonderful job! At my follow up appointment following the surgery, he was very thorough in explaining to me what he had done, as well as explaining the results of the pathology report. I would definitely recommend Dr. Thomas Huott!

great personality and caring, goes beyond when the need arises

The person who left a review ststing that I didn't answer their questions, listen to them and that they didn't trust my decisions could not have really been my patient. I'm a very good listener. I always answer questions, even when a patient has lots of questions and my decision making skills are excellent. I take really good care of all my patients. The other reviews are all excellent.
