First visit was not great. Explained everything. Was courteous, just seemed distant, not compassionate. 2nd visit? He was AMAZING!! Dr. Ng was a totally different person. Compassionate and friendly. Explained surgery in detail and took time to answer all my questions. Guess we all have our bad days. ??

While DR. NG isn't the best conversationist I have ever met, he does in fact know his profession and does his job extremely well. After having been diagnosed with lung cancer I did my research and decided to go with Dr. NG and it urned out to be the best decision I ever made. He is phenomenal! I knew I was in good hands when I was being prepped for surgery at 6am when out of nowhere I hear this guy singing walking down the hospital corridor. As he walk by, I looked and low and behold it was Dr. NG. He was smiling and ready to go to work. Thank you Dr. NG for the great job you did on my lung surgery and I wish you good luck in the future as I have been made aware you are leaving the practice in Providence.

Dr. Ng performed surgery to remove part of my dad's esophagus and stomach due to Esophagus cancer. He was amazing with him and with us. He explained everything to us, what was involved in the procedure, and how everything went after the surgery. He's been great through this whole situation.

I am so grateful to have found Dr Thomas Ng. He is not only an excellent thoracic surgeon, but is extremely diligent about his concern and care.Pre surgery he would call me after his work hours and see how I was doing and to keep me informed about the details of my pending surgery. He performed a very successful robotic surgery to remove my thymus gland. I am so grateful!

I found Dr. Ng extremely informative and thorough explaining my cancer and all test results,as well as seeing me every day in the hospital after surgery as well as the follow up visits. He instilled confidence in his abilities to help me and thankfully scheduled surgery right away and was 100% successful. I owe him everything.
