informed me about my need for cpap at home prior to a procedure and how it can be affecting my heart. I appreciate someone who thinks of my whole health after a procedure despite being only actually responsible for the anesthesia for my procedure.

Dr Ellis while giving me anesthesia on September 18 2020 at RIH chastised me stating that I should be evaluated for a breathing machine for sleep apnea. She never introduced herself or stated what she was doing. She said this in front of other physicians at my bedside. I was groggy already and very nervous as it was. She was extremely unprofessional and it was certainly not the appropriate time to make such a statement. Gruff, unprofessional and rude. Not typical of other professional Lifespan employees. Lacking professionalism and compassion.
