Omg, my Dr. Handel in Providence is the absolute best. When it comes to focusing on specific areas of the human body. He knows his stuff. I always get postive experiences with him. To trigger shots epidural and steroids injection he just has a passion for his patients.With so much kindness for his patience his tenderness and his caring ways thats what I love. I truely can't say enough about him. I've been seeing him for many many years. I don't ever want to go with any other Dr. He always throughly explained my diagnosis, answere questions that have. I always feel confident with him. He really cares for each patient of his. He goes above and beyond for in their care. The best parking is not on governor st its on Ives Street in Providence, RI you'll get his parking lot. Thank You Dr. Handel for all caring and compassion ways about you . I truly appreciate you. You make my life so manageable with all my pain. You make it all go away for that I'm truly blessed to have you as my Dr. Thank you again . God bless you and God keep you safe.

My granddaughter has been to see Dr. Handel many times for injections in her back. We initially forgot his office is no longer on Highland St in Providence but is at 285 Governor St in Providence. He was very accommodating despite the fact we were late. He is very empathetic with my granddaughter and tries very hard to make her as comfortable as possible. He explains everything even though she has been through it multiple times. I appreciate all he does to make her as comfortable as possible, as she is in a wheelchair all day.

I don't know where to begin when it comes to Dr Handel. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and truly cares about his patients. He should of thrown me out of his practice by my ears for the grief I caused him but he stuck with me and is helping me beyond what a Doctor usually does to get me on the right track. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do and there is a lot of fear involved. He is there for you anytime which puts the fear at ease. Dr Handel looks out for your best interests and is right by your side to help you through whatever your going trough. We need more Dr's like Mr. Handel in the world. I highly recommend him. He will do right by you!

I recently had a serious back injury due to an automobile accident. I was in pain all the time but I didn’t want to take pain medications. A close family friend recommended I see Dr. Handel, and I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was. His staff was amazing and the office is so clean! They were so compassionate and efficient. They really care about their patients. Dr. Handel took the time to listen to my concerns and he answered all my questions. I was really impressed by how he provided me with several treatment options because I really didn’t want to take pain medication. I appreciated so much that Dr. Handel followed up with me. It showed me that he is committed to my well-being. I can’t say enough about him and my experience as his patient. Thank you so much Dr. H! Thank you Karen and Sarah! You guys are the best. As a truck driver I was in serious tractor-trailer accident thanks to Dr. Handel. I did not need no surgery. He burnt a nerve in my lower back that was 10 years ago. I don’t want no more. My back doesn’t get stressed from being overworked and I’m 43 years old today. He is an amazing doctor. Kudos to him, hands down

Excellent bedside manner Compassionate patient DR

I have gone to Dr. Handel for many years and I was able to work because of his expertise without going to surgery. I went from crawling on my floor to get to the phone to having a life walking, exercising and enjoying my retirement. I must repeat treatments but it sure beats an error in surgery. I have met my share of those 2 in family who wish they kept treating with injections. I am thankful for his practice. Update, 7/14/25, I had more injections and I spent my Sunday swimming and playing with the grand children, real fun day. Thanks Dr. Handel.

Dr. Handel is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He listens and solved a problem that 3 other doctors couldn’t solve. I can’t say enough about him and what he has done for me. Eternally grateful!!! Thanks Doc!!!

If I could put 0 stars then I absolutely would! This guy is the biggest quack I've ever met! I can't believe he's a "doctor"! He was absolutely terrible! He walked in on his high horse, questioning if I even have any of the illnesses/diagnoses that I have! Without looking at any images of my neck or any of my paperwork/records, or even evaluating me!! He treated me like a liar, for no reason at all! And he was making jokes about it all and being really rude! Meanwhile I'm in agony and desperate for help, wearing a neck brace and it's all limiting me so much in life but he didn't care to even look at my neck! What a waste of time! & So much aggravation that I didn't need! Save yourself the time and aggravation!!
