List of Lauren De Leon's Reviews
I've been fighting covid symptoms which she kept brushing off because I tested negative. Had to fight to see a cardiologist who said I have POTS symptoms. My kidney function went down to which she said we'll just monitor it. Yeah, it went from 115 to 60s. I had ear problems since February. Nothing has been done about it. Went to ER so they'd do an MRI bc I wasn't taken seriously before. Well my eardrum popped and I had her koon in my ear and she said we'll just leave it alone. Had to ask her for a referral to ent which she wasn't going to do. Went to the ER Right after bc my face is dropping and can't smile. They diagnosed me with BELLS PALSY from covid and put me on medication stat! But dr. DeLeon has done NOTHING for me. I'm still having problems with my oxygen levels.
Dr. Lauren de Leon is a wonderful PCP. I was so happy when she took over the practice back in 2013. She listens to everything I have to say at every visit. She responds to her emails on the Portal. She's a provider that cares. She's by far my favorite doctor. I highly recommend her. She's the best!
I went for a few years without having a PCP that I felt connected to: I'm very thankful to have been accepted to Coastal Medical and to have met Dr. de Leon. I find that she is easy to talk to and holds a nice balance with being professional/clinical and friendly/humorous at the same time. I'll mention that I had some symptoms which were somewhat unusual for my age range but even so, she did not hesitate to send me for investigative images - a welcomed reaction to something that had been dismissed by other providers in the past.

I’ve been seeing Dr. de Leon for around 4 years. She is a very kind and compassionate person who truly listens to every concern. I have had some serious health issues and she is above and beyond with her knowledge and expertise. She works as a team with her patients as well as with different specialists. I personally have been in the health profession for many years and Dr. de Leon is right up there with the best-of-the-best !!! I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lauren de Leon as my PCP ...
I do not understand what in the world the other reviewers are talking about. Dr. Deleon is a great doctor. The reason I like going to her is because she listens, is responsive, and is very good at her vocation. I never write reviews for anything, but I could not read these reviews and let it go.
I told her about several symptoms I had like being light-headed, having serious memory issues (not remembering how to spell easy words along with many other loss of memory moments), and tired. She told me this was because I was getting old. I was 39 at the time!!!! Foolish me believed her at that time. About a year later, my gastroenterologist ordered a blood test to check my iron. My iron was extremely low. I went back to Dr. De Leon. Without even looking at the test results, she said many people just have low iron. I told her that the hematologist and gastroenterologist felt it was bad and want to find out what's causing it. She just dismissed the whole thing!!! That was the last time that I wasted my time seeing this uneducated and careless doctor. Come to find out, I have SIBO (bacterial overgrowth in my small intestine). The bacteria eats my vitamins and nutrients. Thank goodness that I finally smartened up and went somewhere else. I also want to mention that before Dr. De Leon worked at Coastal Medical, she was a dr at a gastroenterologist office. Do yourself a favor and don't use her.

She is kind and takes the time to listen to my concerns. I feel confident in her diagnosis and feel that she will continue treating me with my best interest at heart. She is also quick to respond to emails through the patient portal. She does not leave you hanging. I would highly recommend Dr. De Leon as a primary care doctor.
Doesn't listen or care to understand how one feels

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
