Faridah Tanya Rodriguez's Online Review Report Card

Only choose Dr. Faridah Rodriquez as your PCP if you're really good at reading your own medical records. She clearly doesn't do it. I'm 70 and she did not tell me I had osteoporosis, brittle bones. I only learned that from the surgeon on my way into spine surgery. She didn't tell me I had Stage 3 kidney disease, which was clearly indicated in blood work she'd ordered. I'd been coughing badly for well over 5 years, but Rodriguez didn't want to find out the cause: she just kept offering meds and OTC remedies, following what she said was protocol. After I insisted on finding out the reason for such disruptive coughing, after I insisted on a chest x-ray, I discovered some very serious news - a life-threatening chronic lung disease! It was sitting there all along, NOT caught or diagnosed by my PCP, Dr. Rodriguez. Dr Rodriguez is just what you want as a primary care doctor. She's attentive and thorough. She has excellent rapport and good knowledge of local specialists.

Dr Rodriguez is an excellent doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. I have never felt rushed. She takes her time to listen.

Uncaring dr, who didn’t actually LISTEN to a thing I said and talked down to me (I’m from a medical background), uncaring staff who let me sit in a room for a half hour without any contact. Worst experience ever. Will NEVER recommend.

I saw her last year for a basic check up and blood work. She talked down to me, was in a rush after making me wait forever and on top of all that she couldn’t even get the correct blood tests for the lab. I knew what ones needed to be done and the lab slip wasn’t filled out properly. While in the office with her she asked when I had got last gotten a tetanus shot. I had no idea and told her to just give me one anyway. She got mad and rolled her freaking eyes at me. Guess what? I fired her and haven’t been back. Terrible “doctor.” Stay clear of this one.

I agree she does NOT listen to her patients, She bulldozes with what SHE wants and what SHE thinks is right without listening to the patient. Went to see her for a a specific problem which she ignored completely, she was so focused on her computer and rolling her eyes. NOT happy with the experience I waited over an hour with no other patients in the waiting room only for her to spend 10 minutes if that with me. For negligence & making me wait like my time isn't as important as her's I fired her!

With Dr. Rodriguez be prepared to wait over an hour for an scheduled appointment to be seen, had I not needed to be seen I would have left . I do not like that they threaten to charge us when we are late or cancel the same day but they can take an hour of our time like we are not important. Now to the visit - I went in for a specific problem in which she ignored and completely bulldozed right over by exacerbating that I haven't had a pap test in 2 years. My visit had nothing to do with anything about a female exam I guess she want's to make her quota for a bonus. I feel like she was very judgmental whilst explaining my symptoms and her rolling her eyes. Never have I ever been disrespected and felt so uncomfortable with a doctor before. She does not take the time to listen and pays no mind to what concerns the patient. For every person who has been made to feel like an idiot or belittled by a doctor you are not alone and we can fight back! Due to her cold demeanor , personality like a wet rag and overall unprofessionalism I have fired her and am very happy with my new doctor!

Dr. Rodriguez has always made the time to squeeze me into her schedule whenever necessary and when I was very sick she even called me at home herself (not staff)...which I really liked. She is very thorough and efficient.

She is so bad. During appointments, really doesn't listen. We are new patients and argued about the treatment our last physician provided because she didn't like the types of medication.

I would recommend Dr. Rodriguez because she listens well, is always willing to to provide additional treatment and remembers personal and medical information. I am not just a number. In fact I am following Dr. Rodriguez to Tiverton, even though it is an hour drive from my house because I appreciate her care so much.
