List of Alexander L Lubin's Reviews
This guy filled in for Dr Paul Blanc. He went back in to stop my bleeding bladder following a tumor removal. He is a no nonsense doctor who gets the job done. I would highly recommend this guy.
Dr. Lubin was wonderful! Explained everything very well ! His office staff however is an impairment to his practice! Rude, condescending, arrogant...only words I'm allowed to use in this format! Worst office I've ever dealt with. Although I really like the Dr. I will be looking for another! Can't deal with the staff!
Dr. Lubin was very thorough and professional in his treatment and diagnosis of my problem. I would reccomend this urologist, thank you.
Dr Lubin is excellent, but the office was over crowded with waiting patients, and those checking out standing room only, shoulder to shoulder....not good for Covid practices. yes half of the chairs were "roped" off, but still way too many people standing and sitting so close to each other.
My recent appointment (the first) with Dr . Lubin's office was not at all comfortable. The office area was cold snd drab. The chairs were the worst I have ever tried to sit in with my recent hip and back operations. The staff was unpleasant. Dr Rubin was abrupt in his manner. He dictated instructions and did not pause to allow questions. Also, he seemed to be in a rush. His over all attitude seemed very stiff. I called the main number for "Brown" after the appointment and requested an appointment with another brown Doctor but their representative refused to help me unless I talked with Dr. Lubin first. I explained I wanted to avoid a confrontation with a doctor. The representative said then I would not to be allowed o see any other "Brown" doctor! So now off to find another doctor outside of the "Brown" organization.
I had a good visit despite it being about bladder cancer. He explained my condition to me clearly and made sure I understood everything he was saying. He was thorough and gave me confidence in our treatment plan.
The best! Compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to all family members and friends.
Unfortunately we are not onboard with the other reviews. From the beginning it was difficult to schedule an appointment even though our PCP had sent over a referral. We found the office visit with the doctor short, uninformative and disturbingly lacking especially just being discharged from the hospital 2 weeks prior. While in the waiting room watching the show staged on by the dark haired office help unhappy with her job was inappropriate especially as patients were waiting at the window for her help. Needless to say we will not be returning for the procedure the nurse INFORMED us about in the phone call canceling the next appointment.
I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Lubin. I saw him after passing a kidney stone. He was gentle while still being thorough in his exam, so his bedside manner is excellent. He has a sense of humor that puts his patients at ease. He ordered some studies and had me come back in a reasonable amount of time (my schedule was actually harder to accommodate than his office's was). He gave me some great tips on how to avoid future kidney stones and options to treat my remaining one should it give me trouble in the future.
I have had kidney issues for years and Dr Lubin is the first urologist who really listened to me. I totally respect him as my physician and highly recommend him to any patient that needs urological care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
