List of Eileen Gonzalez's Reviews
I’ve been a patient of Dr Gonzalez for 10 years! Both she and Nurse Sandy go above and beyond in the care of their patients.
Eileen is so warm, welcoming and helpful. You feel that you are truly being cared for and listened to. You never feel rushed and she is always thorough. Highly recommend!!
Dr.gonsalves has been our primary care physician ever since dr. Maguire had retired . Several years ago.I highly recommend dr. Gonsalves as a truly caring and wonderful and informative physician. Very glad to have as my doctor. 👍.the staff is awesome too!!

Always listens and very helpful
After reading the negative reviews about Dr. Gonzales I am shocked because I have had the complete opposite of an experience. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable with a beside manner that is unheard of in this day. I am an educated woman and I'm not on state assisted medical care. I left feeling like I finally found a caring doctor. She spent well over an hour with me, another unheard of experience. Anyone would be fortunate to have her as a PCP.
Doctor is a new provider at Coastal Medical. I called there on Friday for an appointment after 48 hours of suffering from pain in my throat. My primary care provider was unavailable so they offered an appointment with her. Long story short... Dr. Gonzalez started off with the good news that my rapid strep and flu tests came back negetive. I try to explain to her that the pain that I am having in my throat is so bad that it hurts to swallow and even breath. Every breath I took the pain would shoot throughout my entire head and face. I explained that I have been taking 800mg of Ibuprofen and 1000mg of Tylenol around the clock and that it just eases the pain slightly. She barely listened to me and cut me off with question after question. She looked in my mouth so fast and told me it is probably viral and sent me on my way. I suffered for another 48 hours and it just got so much worse. I drove myself in tears Sunday morning to a walk in clinic. I had inflammation and visual spots in my throat. They treated me for a throat infection with antibiotics and steroids. It’s monday morning and I can tell that I am on my way to recovering. I can actually get up and so to work. I typically don’t do this type of review but I am still so upset and traumatized by the pain that I was experiencing. I will not be seeing her again.
My self and whole family have been going to her many years ago when Dr.Maguire retired
Eileen Gonzalez is one of my favorite Dr.s ever. I like that she takes the,no matter what to spend with you and explain eveything to you so you would understand what would or could be going on with (my) your health. I love her.
Dr. Gonzales seems competent during your initial visits. The population seen by this physician are mostly working poor and those dependent on state insurance. While she may appear to have a great bed side manner she is relying on the fact that most of her patients are under educated and intimidated by those in lab coats.I have high blood pressure and she continually prescribed drugs that should not be prescribed to those who suffer from hypertension. This was done after it was bought to her attention. She is reluctant to send out for tests that may be life saving. She makes diagnosis without asking the proper questions, based on her assumptions about the demographic she deals with.I needed an MRI she decided I did not need one based on the lack of external bruising. The Dr. never checked my skin for bruises and since I am a very dark skin women of color, if she had would that have been sufficient? If she is question or the patient is educated she seems flustered and becomes angry.Be very careful about being seen by this ebcap affiliated physician. EBCAP is a very good organization and should not be judged its affiliates but by the good it does. Dr. Gonzalez is going to push the agenda of the insurance agencies and gather whtaever bonuses come along with that sort of practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
