List of Joseph M Romanello's Reviews
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Romanello‘s for approximately four years. From the time I met him regarding my diagnosis of kidney disease, he has taken as much time as needed to answer any questions I’ve had, calm my nerves, and showed genuine concern for my well-being. Dr. Romanello has a down to earth personality which goes a long way. I worked for doctors years ago and witnessed that high and mighty nonchalant attitude. I feel comforted and secure in Dr. Romanello’s hands. He is a well respected and thorough physician who I am grateful to be a patient of. I also want to mention the staff who are friendly and accommodating. Any time I have called to ask them for Dr. Romanello’s opinion on a supplement they have gotten right back to me. I have known Cindy in particular from the beginning. She is a sweetheart. Dealing with CKD has been unnerving but Dr. Romanello has made my diagnosis as least stressful as possible.
Dr. Romanello is the nicest physician I have ever had the pleasure to know. I am a retired RN and have worked with many physicians through my 54 years as a nurse, many of those years working in medical offices, so I feel that I am an expert of sorts. He spends all the time you need, is compassionate and knowledgeable and takes that extra step. I can’t give him enough accolades. His office staff is very nice too.
Dr. Romanello was recommended to me by my PCP and she was spot on. In my PCP's initial examination, she had some concerns about my kidneys. Dr. Romanello explained the issues of concern and had me tested to rule out any problems. The issue required several follow-up appointments, but when everything was clear, he (unfortunately) had to "cut me loose." I was most impressed by his understanding of ...
Dr.Romanello has been my Nephrologist for over 6 years. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is professional, knowledgeable, kind, optimistic and always explains things in a manner that you can understand. I credit him for being instrumental in helping me achieve a healthy status which enabled me to qualify for my Kidney transplant. My quality of life has improved greatly. I highly recommend Dr. Romanello and all of his staff. I am forever grateful to him.
Dr. Romanello is kind, down to earth, takes as much time as needed with patients. It is a great asset that he is part of The South Country Medical group, he had all my records available to him for my visit and also was able to communicate with my other doctors easily. He made a recommendation for a change I needed to make and I was able to call the other doctor the same day and they already had Dr. Romanello's notes. His office staff is amazing kind and understanding.
Dr. Romanello is a VERY good doctor & also easy to talk to. I am so glad we were lucky enough to get him.
I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Romanello for my kidney doctor. During the years I have seen him for the kidneys he has solved other medical problems not related.
Takes his time, doesn't seem rushed yet always stays on time. Very caring. Loves to explain things in detail.
I agree with other reviewers. Dr. Romanello and his staff are top-notch. Punctual. Caring. Personable. Loves to educate so that you understand everything thoroughly. I feel fortunate to have him looking after my health.
The staff is friendly and caring, knows the repeat patients first names and makes them feel good to be there. Dr. Romanello enters the room in an utmost friendly mannner and is glad to see you and you will feel very comfortable being with him. He gets into your case in an extremely caring way and wants to make sure you have a complete understanding of your situation. If you feel he goes to fast in expalnations, fear not because he will repeat to make sure it sinks in and do follow up calls to check on you or the staff will. He will cover topics that will educate you with new knowledge of the body and what over the counter items youshould never take.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
