Steven H Schneider's Online Review Report Card

This doctor was supposed to have fixed my prolapsed bladder. It fell back down again within 7 weeks. When I went back to him, he told me, "Shit happens." This man is just so full of himself. I would never see him again, and I have recommended the same to others.

Does not listen to patient. Does not educate himself on treating properly. I will not see him again

This is the absolute worst professional I have ever been in contact with. He told me I was measuring extremely large for 30 weeks when in fact my unborn was in the 3rd percentile. He told me I might as well schedule a C-section on his scheduled day because my uterus was angry and my fibroid was blocking the way. When I went into labor, he was, unfortunately, the doctor that was on call. He recommended a drug that would put me in what he said was a euphoric state, at that point I couldn’t even manage my contractions. I felt like I was on 40 Percocets. And every time that I would have contraction, He would seem annoyed with me. Never would I recommend him to my worst enemy

he told me to “go crazy with the oral sex tonight” after an invasive procedure

After a terrible experience at Woman & Infants hospital my primary refereed me to Dr Schneider for a surgery involving and extremely large and invasive Fibroid Tumor in which I needed to have a full hysterectomy. Dr Schneider was incredibly informative and I appreciated his honesty! He is no nonsense and tells you exactly as it is, so if you are the type that needs to be babied he is probably not your guy. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and incredibly competent doctor/surgeon you won't find better. My surgery went extremely well and the next day he came to my hospital room. He assisted me in taking a walk through the new labor and delivery wing and spent so much time just checking in and ensuring that I was feeling as best I could and that I was doing well. I've had two followups since my surgery and he still remains to be the most honest, genuine and caring doctor! He is so fabulous I have switched to him to be my primary GYN.

He was then dismissive of the pain I had that brought me in to see him. Since having this experience and telling friends, I have heard more stories from other women who were severely mistreated by this doctor.
