Andrew Tompkins's Online Review Report Card

When you need doctors appointment and you have a problem they always tell you it will be two or 3 months .

I went to Dr. Thomkins because my wife recommended him. She brought her Down Syndome brother to him for a urinary problem and was very impressed with the way Dr. Thomkins treated him with compassion and kindness. I have to say I was equally impressed when I saw him. Dr. T is thorough, explains everything and allows as much time as you need. He is truly a very dedicated physician. He even followed up with me with a phone call on a Sunday!

Dr Tompkins is thorough, listens well and is patient. Gives you all TBE time you need. Followed up with a phone call at about 6:30 pm. Who does that!! Put my mind at ease about a potential tough diagnosis. I feel he is trustworthy. Am lucky to have a doctor like this on my side.

Let me begin first by saying the office staff is STELAR, especially Patricia. All of them are professional and kind. As for the Doctor, I met him prior to my visit, where he donated his time to speak more than once to speak to Prostate Cancer Patients at SturdyHospital. His above-average knowledge was obvious. I left my former Urologist to become one of his grateful patients.

Probably a good doctor but unreachable and has a horrible support staff. He installed a kidney drain in my 93 year old mother and told her he needed to see her in two weeks. His incredibly rude staff member told me no appointments were available for over a month, and got angry when I mentioned that the doctor wanted to see her in two weeks. Great customer service. When the time finally came to remove the drain (more than a month later), my mother went to the office only to find Dr. Tompkins was on vacation and no one in his office was allowed to remove the drain. Do these people even know who actually pays their wages?

If you are in need of help related to problems involving urology, Dr. Tompkins is the man you want to see. I found him to be personable, bright and willing to discuss any problems. He made me feel at ease. I had a test involving running a camera into my prostate/bladder. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous. Upon performing the procedure, Dr. Tompkins allayed my concerns. He was careful in his approach and highly skilled. The staff of Sturdy Urology keeps on par with Dr. Tompkins, making the whole experience easy.

Staff is horrible. My mother had an appt with Bradley the PA and he was great. He referred my mom to Miriam hospital for a procedure. Despite 4 phone calls making the office aware of the issue, they never sent the referral. Each time I would call they would place me on hold for 10-15 minutes and achieved nothing. Horrible patient care

I was in ruff shape when i showed up at sturdy memorial,turned out to be a kidney stone blockage,infection,kidney working at only 15% I was very fortunate to get Dr Tompkins as a surgeon,the best english man i know lol, love his bedside manners,he's like no other doctor I've ever incounted,if i could give him a 10 star review i would,I highly recommend him, he took very good care of me two times in the OR,we need more doctors like him,all his 5 star reviews are on point,definitely a down to earth guy you could sit in a bar with and have a beer. Thanks for taking good care of me Dr Andrew Tompkins.

Just met Dr Tompkins for the first time. He was professional knowlegable and such a caring doctor. He took his time and explained everything to me. Would highly recommend him to those looking for urological care. He took his time with me and I can honestly say I didn't feel rushed even though he had a roomful of patients.
