Dr Mechrefe is an excellent physician and surgeon. My original injury was in 1987 so I have had the pleasure of working with many Orthos. Dr Mechrefe is certainly one of, if not the best of orthopedic surgeons from whom I have been lucky enough to have received care and treatment. The support system from Scheduling to PAs has never let me down.

Hello I’m Shane Bettez so when I met the doc I was in bad shape I broke my heal and ripped my Achilles tendon off He told me he would fix me up better than before at that point I was skeptical with all the pain and mental stress this was causing me but I kept an open mind So I’m a construction worker I work in the excavation side play in the dirt So this was the most painful thing I have ever experienced right up until I had surgery. Then after the surgery I was kinda scared because there was no pain They had given me a lot of strong pain medication that I didn’t even need but Tylenol When the nurse called me a day after the surgery I told her I felt like a new man So my journey began with healing and physical therapy The therapists are incredibly nice and supportive of what I was going through and wanted to help me back to my everyday routine again. With them it was we will get you there be patient and let us help. Well it’s been a year now I’m walking around again and have lost over 50lbs and have a brand new look on life I will say that the Doctor truly saved my life. I have done a few complete life changes because of the advice from the doctor and therapist Everyone told me that I had a career ending injury. Well no way with RI Orthopedics they don’t have that attitude Thanks to all the doctors and nurses and therapists that helped me see the world in and new ways. Thank you doc for saving my life My wife and kids love you for this.

Great new facility, but my afternoon appointment (3:30) led to a late meeting with the doctor (after 4pm). Such a busy place, you have to expect delays as the day goes on. But otherwise, a real good experience with all personnel involved!

Dr Anthony Merchefe is the reason I'm able to continue to walk today after my ankle totally collapse in 2013. He & his first assistant Jessica Parker has seen me cry at my worst and put me back up on my feet.... And Now Dr Merchefe & Thomas Cao are trying to keep me upright... I'm awaiting a new MRI to check a pouch of fluid in my ankle and check the fusion. I won't trust any other Doctor to treat this ankle besides Dr Merchefe.... I'm learning to trust his new assistant Thomas Cao... Even Though I just Miss Jess Parker very much. Thank You Donna Jean

Dr Anthony was personable , easy to speak with , answered questions, surgically knowledgeable, visibly demonstrated his teaching skills by showing me the mri and the damaged foot in detail . We discussed options going forward . I am a tough critic being an RN :) I would suggest him to my patients and family . Thank you for your help .
