List of Farhat Ibrahim's Reviews
If you're in good health and just need a GP to see once a year for your physical and the occasional illness, go for it. If you're looking for someone who will listen to you, explain things, and be an advocate for you, go elsewhere. The other reviews are spot on. She's a narcissistic witch. Finding a new GP was the best move I've made in awhile. The office staff is the best.
Absolutely awful doctors office. Will not recall your call for 3 days, sends your bloodwork to the wrong lab, and then drops you as a patient after following up 3 weeks prior. TERRIBLE bedside manor, unprofessional, and the front desk is more than rude. I’d rather be sick than ever go into that office again. Do yourself a favor, pick another PCP. OH and you will always be waiting at least 20 minutes I’m waiting room and then sitting in the room by yourself for another hour.
Dr. Ibrahim is not a good doctor. Her body language, tone of voice and choice of words speaks volumes about her character. She is very disrespectful and condescending to patients and not a good listener. She put in my record I am a hypochondriac. I asked for help dealing with pain/multiple symptoms and getting an updated MRI (last one was a couple years old and I have congenital spinal stenosis). She said I don't need an MRI. I asked her if I should ignore pain. She asked me sarcastically if I wanted surgery and I responded that I don't know, if she was an orthopedic specialist and said I needed a doctor to help properly diagnose/guide me. I decided to end our doctor-patient relationship that day and so glad I sought help elsewhere. What Dr. Ibrahim classified as hypochondria is actually cervical spondylytic myelopathy and, yes, I am getting spine surgery. Myelopathy is a spinal cord injury that can lead to long term/irreversable spinal cord/nerve damage, dysfunction, and paralysis. So glad I didn't listen to her and advocated for myself. I know my body better than her.
Dr. Ibrahim has been an excellent care provider for me. She shows a lot of concern and care and in my opinion, she does listen. Her staff is great and very thorough and efficient. She has always referred me and addressed issues I have and in fact, she has contacted me after hours out of concern. I find her very thorough and have recommended her to other health care coworkers I have. I have gotten ...
Dr. Ibrahim is disrespectful, condescending, and has poor bedside manner. Do not go to her if you have any pre-existing conditions. She will not help coordinate care with your specialists and does not empathize with patients who are seeking answers for causes of pain. She overprescribed anxiety/antidepressants and did not stop them/adjust if they were not treating symptoms. She does not like her ...
was a patient for 15+ years. I used to love her but then started feeling like her motive was strictly money and not patient care. I asked for a referral to a cardiologist to review needs she prescribed. She denied my request. It turned out I didn't need a referral so I made an appointment. She found out and pulled the plug on me as a patient and cut me off from my medication. I had to file a complaint with the department of health.

She used to be a great doctor with a great office manager. It's gone downhill and her level of care has gone from caring about the patient to caring about getting you in to collect an office visit fee. She refused my request for a referral to a cardiologist because that would mean giving up repeat visits for blood pressure meds. I was able to Mahe the appointment without her referral and she dropped me as a patient after being with her for almost 20 years.
Do not go to Dr. Ibrahim if you want a doctor who listens, takes time to answer questions without getting annoyed, is respectful, not condescending, is a partner in your healthcare, empathetic, warm and treats you holistically. If you have any need for specialist referrals, MRIs, CT scans, bone density, pain management (neuropathy, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis), etc. and she doesn't think you need it, you will be treated like a hypochondriac and given the runaround. She makes faces and negative comments during exams/discussions. The sad thing is she thinks everyone else is ignorant/below her and patients will tolerate such mistreatment. She likes to give Rx for anxiety/depression at higher doses even if not helpful. I am a masters level educated professional and she talked to me like a child at a time I needed to rule out cancer due to neurologist blood work/CT scan. I obviously ended our provider/patient relationship to get proper care and medication for nerve pain (Cymbalta).
I have been seeing Dr Ibrahim for at least 10 years and she is by far my favorite doctor. Her diligence, time spent with patients, willingness to listen and the ease of scheduling appointments make the practice a true pleasure. Dr Ibrahim is very smart and caring. A special physician for sure.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
