List of Gregory Steinmetz's Reviews
The doctor did not seem to care much about treating me , but was more interested in generating as much money as possible from me, insisting I come back every three months. He said I was required to attend a lecture at 5pm and pay $50 if he were to consider treating my ailment. All he did during my appointment was type into his computer, and barely listened. One time, he and his staff apparently forgot I was in the exam room waiting for him. I looked outside the door, and he was staring off into space. Avoid this doctor at all costs. He's a waste of time and money.
I have been going to Dr. Steimetz for years and we love him!!! He is right on things and makes you feel at easy talking to him. I even got my husband to start going to him. And the staff is great. Texsinia Hall
After being here for years I was told I needed to find another pcp because the NP I normally see there was leaving the practice. Now Steinmetz is my doctor there but because I saw a NP and she is leaving I have to leave too. Doesn't make sense at all. I live less than a mile from here. My doctor is still there. I have routine prescriptions from here. I'm in the middle of a referral from here. Yet because a NP I saw there is leaving I have to leave too. I seen all the NPs there. Wth? They apparently put a message to everyone about this in their online portal that no one logs into. Smdh
Great doctor and staff. I have had nothing but the best treatment through this office. Thank you
I have been a patient of Dr. Steinmetz for several years. I am a 60 year old male with pre-existing conditions. I have had annual physical exams for more than 40 years. Prior to Dr. Steinmetz, my doctor would conduct an EKG, digital rectal exam (DRE) and order lab work each year. At my annual physical exam in 2020, Dr. Steinmetz did not conduct an EKG or order any lab work at all. Dr. Steinmetz only conducted a DRE at my insistence. Prior to my 2021 annual physical exam, I asked Dr. Steinmetz to order lab work and obtain the results before seeing me. Dr. Steinmetz informed me that the tests and lab work were not medically necessary. I informed him that I did not know a single person whose doctor did not perform an EKG, DRE or order lab work annually - let alone two years in a row. Dr. Steinmetz found my questioning insulting and instructed me to find a new doctor. If you are interested in identifying medical conditions at an early stage, I suggest not using Dr. Steinmetz.
very nice, BUT the wait is SUPER LONG and this doctor thinks he can cure everything himself- he does not like it when you as for a referral - a medical megalomaniac.

Required after hours attendance at lecture, at a cost of $50 to continue treatment. Pushed frequent office visits, didn't listen, pushed referrals, very long wait in office, waiting area was dirty, rude staff, didn't seem competent, obvious he is all about the money. Avoid this so called doctor
Extremely satisfied. He has taken the time to call me on many occasions. He is a good listener.
Sorry but much less than compassionate care! Especially if you have any pain issues, Advil is the answer here, how many are too many 8-12

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
