List of Joseph Grande's Reviews
The office manager unprofessional. She was talking badly about a patient that was on the phone with another office person right in front of my wife and I. She was rude and discourteous to me the whole time and when I confronted her on this she got out of her chair and put her finger in my face and accused me of being rude and said we had to leave before we even got to see the Dr. I asked to see the Doctor to bring this to his attention and he wouldn’t even bother to come meet us. The place is a dump.
The office manager was totally unprofessional and lacked any etiquette. She was rude and when I confronted her on it she refused to let my wife see the Dr and kicked us out. The place was a dump anyway.
Had this doctor since I was young. Never liked him. I started losing my hearing in right ear. Went to him to get it checked out. When he finally was ready to see me I was sent into his office. He never even looked at my ear, never even flushed my ear. All he said was to get debrox, to clean the ear wax out at home. Never gets out of his chair. Very lazy, and does not care about his patients at all. Recently moved to Maine, immediately got an ear flush. That didn’t solve issue so they referred me to ent. What dr grande should’ve done in the first place.
lazy doctor, never gets off of his chair. Initially went to his office for a Immigration PE and vaccines for my grandparents the negligence of his staff is absurd, do not submit paperwork on time and this delayed the process for over 2 months. Doesn't have an actual provider seeing patients only interns and medical students, the only good thing about this office is the Office Manager Shirley.
My Husband and I have been going to Dr. Grande for too many years to count. Dr. Grande is amazing at diagnosing mystery ailments, letting you know when it's nothing to worry about, and sending you in the right direction if it is out of his realm. Office staff is friendly and kind. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Grande to family and friends.
This office has no idea what professionalism is. We had an apointment in the afternoon only to get there when the entire office was on "lunch" we sat in the waiting room for nearly 2 hrs before we were seen. My wife and i didnt have a primamry care doctor so we were hoping to develop a relationship that would last a long time. It didn't. My wife was struggling with an illness for a few weeks and we were anticipating some helpful answers. We got none. After 2 hours we were finally seen , not by the doctor but by a girl who seemed to care but wasnt fully trained ; educated..not her fault she was put in a poor position..only to learn the doctor sits in an office and waits for the "results" of his assistant to prescribe after care , and when that was done there seemed to be no concern no worry or no care in fact a medication was prescribed that would have made my wifes situtaion much worse. The lackadaisical attitude seen in this office made me sad for my wife who was extremely concerned about her health. Buyer beware.
I agree completely with Michelle F's post! Dr grande has students and interns checking his patients because he doesn't ever get out of that chair! He favors men in my experience my fiancé and I both go and he always get what he needs and will see dr Grande, I on the other hand am suffering with an unknown medical problem because I get brushed off. The phone is always busy and the prescriptions called in are never right, but good luck calling them! Worst doctor I have ever been with in 32 years and I've been to some doozys! My fiance is always talked to and joked with and taken first by staff while I sit there getting no attention to my problems and sometimes ignored while trying to speak to staff. The staff is completely incompetent. My advice, especially if you're female, don't go here if you actually care about you're health!
Dr Grande and his staff are wonderful! They always make time for their patients, always a comfortable atmosphere
I can't recommend Dr. Grande and his staff enough. They are excellent. i.e. they listen to you, they follow -up, and they keep their promises. Dr. Grande has treated me over the years, and most recently is the PCP for my 90+ year old mother. Bottom line.. if you wishes you could find a small practice that treats you like you are there only patient, look no further. Dr. Grande and his staff are the best.
I just moved to Rhode Island and needed to find a doctor. Not knowing anyone in Rhode Island, I had no one to ask for a referral. I randomly selected Dr. Grande from my insurance list. Wow! I was very lucky with my selection! The front office staff was so nice. Dr. Grande was wonderful! Excellent bed side manner, good listener, and I never felt rushed. The nurse was also very friendly. I have a very positive experience and would highly recommend Dr. Grande.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
