Dr. Kilstein was my husband's surgeon. I'll always respect Dr. Kilstein for respectfully coming right to the point at that first appointment.No one ever forgets the first time that you hear the word "cancer". We had to work quickly..my husband had 14 months of symptoms he never shared with me, just so that I wouldn't worry. When you meet a doctor for the first time you get a feeling about them right away. A gut feeling. We knew that we wanted Dr. Kilstein on our team.Gratefully, Carol&Jake

Dr. Kilstein has no bedside manner whatsoever. He does not communicate with his patients. He will never ever talk to you on the phone and would prefer that all communications be through the staff!!!! I was in the hospital for a week after he operated on my kidney and he never came to see me once. I was very sick after the surgery at home and could never get him on the phone. He always made me feel like I was bothering him. After surgery, he rushed me back to work. As a result I developed a hernia and had to go back in the hospital for surgery. He has no bedside manner whatsoever. I don't want to be my doctor's friend but he could at least be professional. The staff is equally as rude.

Dr. Kilstein is not culturally competent. He always gives my parents a hard time about providing an interpreter. He's always in a rush and does not like to be asked questions.

Office staff was horrible and took more than two weeks to answer a single call. Didn't call back even when they promised to. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

He's fantastic!!!Extremely conscientious and tries very hard not to hurt you when doing the scope. Very, very pleasant and impeccably neat!!! Keeps on my case to quit smoking.

Dr. Kilstein does not return phone calls to answer questions you may have about your health. The staff is inefficient and unprofessional. Overall this practice is not the one you should trust your health to especially if you would like to have a good communication with your doctor.
