List of Joseph Giancaspro's Reviews
It’s been years since I’ve seen Dr. “G” I live far away, but this morning as I write a leadership article, I was reminded about something Dr Giancaspro taught me: I’m a conversation we were having in his office, he once told me that at one point I’m his career he had to choose between “being a great doctor and a good father, or being a great father and a good doctor.” He said he chose to be a “great ...
Never once did Dr. G provide a physical examination of the problem areas that I was having. Office visit was all talk and nothing more. Very disappointed.
Dr. G has been my doctor for over 20 years great service always listens to patients very quick on resolving problems thank you
He has been my general practitioner for about 10 years. He's been spot on with diagnosis, very friendly and almost like a family member at this point.
He has been my family doctor for 35 years. He is a bit of an odd duck, but he genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to get to the bottom of their problems. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
Sorry but only star is for punctuality, time is money. One visit was all I needed to have with this guy. This person below seems to want to chastise others for giving an opinion and does a very poor job at it. This guys listening skills are very poor, maybe he has things other than his job on his mind. He seemed to be elsewhere in his thoughts. Very uncomfortable, I tried to let it pass as I know he has problems, but the arrogance is just to much.
it's beyond my comprehension our Joseph giancaspro can be rated anything less than 5 stars.im originally from NYC not dealt with my fair share of doctors, he spends an enormous amount of time with each patient, in doing so he is found things that others have missed.in my opinion the man is a borderline genius, sometimes these types of doctors can be misunderstood.my former doctor from New York spent about 7 minutes per visit and in doing so missed half of the diagnosis which dra giancaspro found just by instinct..I personally don't know a patient of his and I know many,it a small town, has anything but stellar reviews.5 stars from a man whose had 10 different doctors in five different states. if I moved away he would still ne my doctor.the fact that I spend so much time with each patient I think fuels some of the negative reviews.I find people to be very impatient these days, they get so pissed off to have to wait, to any doctor can cure cancer and it still upset if a doctor gets to you in 5-10 minutes, you'll find out exactly how long I'll stay with you.me I'd rather wait to 30 minutes and have 30 minutes spent with me.
I am sorry to read these poor ratings; I personally would not want to go to any other doctor. Dr Giancaspro is definitely quirky, but find me a doctor who isn't. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of heart disease/ cholesterol. He has given me generous samples without hesitation and he is willing to spend time with you and not rush things. Personally I have a busy family life so I'm happy that he takes his time and I get to rest a little in his office, it's about the only free time I have. He is a little curt when wrapping things up, but again,I attribute this to quirkiness and not rudeness. He has been extremely helpful for me. I have no hesitations in recommending him or his staff.
Always late and will text during appointments. Office manager is very rude. He's very arrogant and has no social skills whatsoever. Rushes appointments. Does not want to be there. Has pictures of family everywhere and always talks about them. Think he's an MD just to make money and doesn't care about anyone but himself. Not a nice man and neither is his staff. Stay away at all costs.
I felt that he was only in it for the insurance money, he did not care if he was a good Dr. as long as the money was coming in. My opinion. Found a new Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
