List of Walid Saber's Reviews
I have been going here for a few years, and have very little to complain about. Dr. Saber is a caring physician, with good medical staff. The office and rooms are nice. The Woonsocket office is in a good location, with plenty of parking. It was difficult in the past to reach them for appointments, to either make or change them, but I think they have improved in that area, or are trying to.
The visit was fine and everything went well. On leaving the receptionist mentioned he had three more procedures scheduled. I said I haven't heard anything about that. The patient was my husband. I asked if the Doctor could see me or call me and was told no, he didn't talk to patients. Needless to say we left.
Long story shortened - My 90 year old father was seeing Dr. Saber for months because his foot hurt badly and sores were appearing. He has diabetes. Two ultrasounds were done there, both times Dr. Saber said that "blood flow was good" and nothing else needed to be done. But the foot sores got worse. My father saw another vascular surgeon who found several blockages - surgery was done, 4 stents implanted and an aneurysm was repaired. My father also lost 2 toes on the foot. All this only a few WEEKS after Dr. Saber said that everything seemed fine. Apparently his diagnosis was incorrect. I called his office twice to discuss this with him and he has never returned my calls. UPDATE: My father had his leg amputated below the knee approx 9 months after seeing Dr. Saber.
I want to let everyone know how disappointing Dr. Saber's staff is. I had been seen in the spring of 2018 for varicose veins. A follow up appt. was cancelled twice by his office. He was going to be away. I finally rescheduled in August for my ultrasound and was told that they were booking the procedures in Oct. and they would send me a packet. When I didn't receive it, I called and was told that was incorrect and they were actually booking in Jan. 2019. I was able to push it to Dec. No one ever explained the procedure so when I received the packet I was surprised that there were 5 appointments. I called to ask what these were and told that it was needed. I had also called to have the nurse call me to explain the procedures. That call was returned after I cancelled everything. I ended up cancelling the whole thing early last week because once again they called me to reschedule my first appt. on Dec. 17. Also, as of Dec. 7th they had not even submitted for approval to my insurance company. I'm sure if Dr. Saber was aware of the disconnect in his office he would address it. Unfortunately, I feel that I wasted 8 mos. and paid co-pays, insurance was billed for the appts. that I did have. So unfortunate.
Dr. Saber is the best.. He also does all he can to make you happy and comfortable during procedures. I have a Plethora of procedures scheduled with 2 already done.. Ablations and sclerotheropies. He administered lidocane up and down the vein he was to do the work on... Implant some fiber optic device in the vein and heat it up to an immensely great temp and which on the 2nd one I felt my flesh burning ..i screamed but Dr. Saber quickly made it to where I felt alot more comfortable. He's the best..he informed me of my misdiagnosis and gave me the correct one.. Peripheral artery disease which unfortunately has no cure ..can only be treated. I have a plethora of medical conditions.. I am only 33 years young.. Currently wheelchair bound. So if anyone of you out there have any cardiovascular issues I highly highly recommend Dr. Walid Saber @ the cardiovascular and vein Center in Woonsocket RI...Social St. Also the staff is AMAZING!
Wounderful Dr. he saved my life. I found that the employees are great. If you have a heart, vein issue, this is your girl. Long wait timrs due to emergency in office. I wouldn't be alive today if he difdid help me.
Dr. Saber did some vascular work on both of my legs. He was professional, courteous and very kind. As well he took the time to diagnose another unrelated serious medical issue unrelated to his own specialty. His quick action and sound recommendation was wonderful and he made sure I was properly cared for. I am very grateful to this fine doctors r and his wonderful staff.

Dr.saber knows everything about, has all my records, knows everything I have been through, sorry I had to give him all my records , but he really listens, next visit will be easier as I told him everything, now at least we are on first base, and I can follow all his steps, I fully recommend him for everyone, I am surprised he is accepting patients, he is so busy, with probably no life , but he spends time with you and explains everything, understand me, this is only a first visit, and quickly gave me 3 appts., so he can get to see everthing.
Dr Saber was called in when I was a patient in Memorial Hospital and after discussing with me the procedure he was going to do I agreed. Now 2 other Doctors had tried to open my arteries but left me with blistering of my lower extremities. Dr Saber did an awesome job and For the past 4 years now I have not had any blistering. He is the only Doctor who cared enough to come into my room right after the surgery to explain in detail what he had done. I can not say enough about this Great Doctor all I can say is without his surgery I probably would be dead by now. I thank you Dr Saber from the bottom of my heart. Dr Saber's nurse Briana is a wonderful person who always helps me whenever I call

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
