Dr Esselman did a great job helping my dad. He had been to several other ENT Drs with no help but Dr E was able to figure out the problem on the first visit. Highly recommend him.

During my visit for problems with some pain and dryness in my ears and dizziness, the doctor ordered a hearing test in which Medicare did not approve because it was coded as routine visit. I did not request this hearing test. I assumed it was part of doctor's Treatment. I called Medicare and they said it was coded as a routine visit. This was the first time I had seen the doctor and I did not go in for hearing test. I'm hoping that this billing will be resolved soon. I have to pay for the hearing test. I think it's very important For patients And doctors as well as the people that are doing the insurance billing in the office to all be on the same page. Insurance is very expensive. Patients need to be aware of Fees for unapproved procedures By Medicare. I would like to have had a choice as to whether or not to take that hearing test. I would've declined If I new Medicare was not going to pay for it. The last person I spoke to today was Evelyn in billing in the Augusta office and she was very kind. She's going to be getting with Dr. Esselman today or tomorrow To try to resolve this issue for me. When I called Medicare, they said that sometimes the coding is incorrect. Hopefully this will be an easy fix. Thanks for reading my post. Live and continue to learn. Dr. Esselman's business office took care of the medicare coding and my insurance paid the bill; Thank you Dr. Esselman's business office for taking the time to fix the situation.

I recommend this place for the doctors who really care, for the faithful allergy specialists who give allergy shots, and for the audiologist for whom I have a very special liking. I use all three of these services, so I know them and their wonderful staff well. You could not go wrong by making an appointment with anyone here. They are the BEST!
