List of John Tiffany's Reviews
No bedside matters. No caring for the children My son had appendix pain. He told me he wouldn’t meet me at office. He didn’t say go to the hospital or anything. On my son’s next office appointment, he wouldn’t speak to me. Spoke directly to my husband. He was say tell your wife etc and I was standing next to him. The crazy thing is that I have never said anything to him in an impolite way. I left took my child to Dr Collins. He was very caring.
He have his bad days and good days with my Austim child my child seems to love him he feels comfortable around him at times I have to remind him he's autism though and some of the things certain kids can do my baby can't are he doesn't understand but with diagnosis he's very good in that department with him he knows his stuff
Dr. Tiffany is very knowledgeable.
Great doctor and staff. I'm very picky with my childrens care and am so happy with this office!
He is personable, courteous, sincere, and concerned. He has always made me feel like my children are important to him and that is what keeps us coming back!
Dr. Tiffany is excellent on several counts. He is personable with kids and easily establishes a rapport with them. He is conversational with parents - I never feel like he is rushing through our discussion, he is interested in my perceptions and concerns. He is well-balanced - he doesn't overreact to concerns or symptoms, nor does he dismiss them. He doesn't overmedicate - for a minor infection, he gave me a prescription (it was Friday) but advised not filling it unless the high fever persisted 2 more days. He doesn't hesitate to recommend a specialist when indicated, which we've have needed on two occasions. Those times I truly appreciated not having to argue and plead for something more on my children's behalf. Finally, it is clear that he cares - at noon on a Saturday, he decided my son should get a chest xray at the hospital - he waited at his office until 3 pm so he could review the results first hand.
Staff is HORRIBLE! Has argued with me an made us wait on purpose after the crap manager called me a liar and refused to identify herself to me an was completely nasty and unprofessional! Needless to say I will be taking my child out of this office today and never return. Maybe they need to hire new staff that has manners an is nicer to the children!
Totally misdiagnosed my son. Dr. Tiffany stated that my son had a viral infection, which in fact turned out to be strep throat. He would not swab my son's throat, even though I insisted. I guess he did not want to wait because this was a Friday afternoon! Since my son was not diagnosed in a timely manner, he developed Scarlett Fever. Yes! Scarlett Fever! We have had many problems as a result of his strep not being treated in time. Do not trust a doctor that says it is just viral. Insist that they swab the throat if your instincts tell you there is more!
I had him for about 7 years. He is very nice and care about the kids. Dr. Collin seems to be more knowledgeable than him though. My kid was transferred from him to Dr. Collin several times. Some nurses in South Pediatric were not very capable. Overall I would recommend Dr. Tiffany. He is very good at common issues and pay attention to the parent. He explains well and has an easy going personality. Dr. Collin is a little more serious.
the staff has not been known to be patient or nice to the children, or very knowledgeable of there own job.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
