List of Mark Orgel's Reviews
This was my first visit to meet Dr. Orgel. The Front Desk person was polite and attended to me in a reasonable amount of time. Dr. Orgel went thru my health history and asked many questions. He also welcomed and answered all of my questions. The facility was clean and the staff were friendly and courteous. Will be returning for followup visits.
I waited 3 months to get in with Dr. Orgel, then the rude nurse called to reschedule, for another 3months. This is ridiculous! I need to see a PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR, I don’t want a quick fix!
I’m only giving a 1 star due to the rudeness of the gray haired woman behind the counter. It wasn’t just me & the nurse she was rude to but everyone else that was signing in for blood work!! Unacceptable!
He has listened very closely and guided me through several severe problems.
I had a CT scan done on 7/26/22 to check for a blood clot in my lungs and even brought a copy of the images to doctor Orgels office on 7/28 and handed them to the receptionist. It is now 8/10 and I'm still trying to find out if I have a Blood clot. This is not the first issue I have had with this office. You never get anyone on the phone, and if you leave a voicemail they won't call you back.
He is so arrogant and he is the only one that gets to talk. I went to the ER with stroke like symptoms and was in the ER all night and nothing showed a stroke. I had a followup visit with Dr. Orgel. He came through the door saying, "You did not have a stroke. I have no evidence that you had a stroke." I said that I went to the ER with stroke symptoms. He came in immediately proving that I did NOT have a stroke. Didn't get but a couple of words in. I've had previous visits where he doesn't believe you and is always on the defensive. I dropped him that day. It's like he is accusing you of something and it puts you on the defensive. I don't need his rude arrogant self.

I'm new to Aiken and was looking for a new PCP. I chose Dr Ogel based om my insurance coverage and doctors seeing new patients. I've only seen him twice so far but both visits were excellent. He take takes his time, listens and actually engages in casual conversation. I like doctors that don't rush and make you fell comfortable.
Dr. Orgel and NP Mary Louise are very thorough! I'm beyond words for the staff, very personable and helpful! TOP notch office!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
