I began seeing Dr. McMenamin several months ago for frequent strep throat and pressure/itching in my ears. He was great to interact with and very personable and professional. He talked me out of seeking a tonsillectomy at age 40 based on recent research and suggested more low-key alternatives to try first that have been working great so far. He was immediately able to determine the cause of the ear discomfort as jaw tension, and I have not had any more problems with it after a few days of trying to relax my jaw more. I have been very impressed with his treatments so far!

He got verbally abusive when I corrected him for the dozenth time that I do not have a condition he brings up every visit, real sphincter doctor with a God Complex.

Huge ego, easily triggered by pointing out for at least the 6th time that he has the wrong diagnosis listed when he was lecturing me about it. This guy is quite the nutter who runs his mouth off a lot and gets angry when a patient points out he is wrong. Avoid and seek a doctor who's opinion you can trust.
