List of Tiffani Thomas's Reviews
I am a retired surgeon and after not so gentle prodding by family, I made an appointment with Dr. Thomas for management of my high blood pressure. I have been totally pleased with my care. Dr Thomas is intelligent, personable, and a joy to deal with. Granted, with my previous life in the medical profession, my expectations are quite high; however Dr Thomas easily exceeds all these. Despite being a typical curmudgeonly ex-surgeon, I willfully and gladly follow her directions and suggestions. Dr Thomas is great.
I have lived in Aiken for 6 years, and I just found the courage to find a general practitioner. My doctor friend recommended Dr. Thomas. I am a delicate flower when it comes to going to the doctor. So I had put off going to the doctor for too long. Dr. Thomas and her assistant were very kind and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Thomas was thorough in explaining my blood test results and took the time to explain what symptoms to look for. She had a great bedside manner, and I didn’t feel rushed. I’m very pleased with my choice of Dr. Tiffani Thomas as my general practitioner in Aiken.
Always friendly staff, and very knowledgeable. Always willing to go far to help a person out.
She is nice enough, but not at all aggressive in treatment plans and takes a "wait and see" approach, which is fine when a patient is NOT in pain. She has also yet to review serious test results with me after over a month of having received them. I'm looking for a new doctor who takes more ownership and responsibility in patient care.
Dr. Thomas is a great listener and wonderful doctor. Her staff are always so kind to me. Helping to encourage new physicians to grow in their field is amazing and they are so nice. I am proud to be a patient at this office.
I am so grateful to have Dr. Thomas as my primary care provider. Her, as well as her staff, are very thorough.
This practice does not run efficiently. I tried to get this office to follow-up on a referral with my insurance for over three weeks. I ended up having to cancel my pre-op appointment due to this office's laziness and unprofessionalism.
I just got a call about FMLA paperwork that I had sent over to her office over a month ago. Stephanie gave me her card to have it sent to her fax. Nothing! I ended up having to get my leave liason to mail them to me so that I could drop them off. Still nothing even after i called. Nobody seems to ever know anything. I just spoke to her Friday about it and she has her staff call today to ask if I signed it (which she should be able to see bc she has the papers) & when is it due. It was due over a month ago when they were initially sent to you! Atp...I can't deal with this dr nor her staff. I don't feel like she is thorough anyway, and they seem to be unorganized in her office. The girl on the phone told me she doesn't know what's going on. How do you not know if you're the one calling me?! I'm upset and I don't need the added stress. I was already skeptical bc I haven't heard good things from a couple of ppl that I know, but this seals the deal for me. I haven't heard from any of the referrals she supposedly sent out for me, & for some odd reason she does not want to refer me to a Cardiologist after I told her multiple times I think that's where we need to start. Instead she wants to order an MRI to look at the structure of my insides to know what her next move is. My next move is out the door!!!! At my last appt the student dr did more than Dr. Thomas did at both of my appts. When she came in after the student dr she did not listen to my heart or lungs...just got straight to talking about the pills and how I needed to take them. Btw: I'm a new patient. Saw her for the first time in February. Waited 2 months to not be impressed nor any further than I was before I went to her. Everyone is different, so maybe she'll be a good fit for you, but definitely not for me! Moving on!
Dr Thomas is patient, thorough, and actually listens. She provides good medical advice and I am happy to have her as my physician. I highly recommend.
Office is dysfunctional, won't use computers/patient portal, so messages get lost, Rx's don't get phoned in, phone calls get dropped, and it is impossible to communicate with the doctor. She caused me severe untreated throat infection and sudden, dangerous withdrawal from a 15-year Rx for tramadol, resulting in 2 serious seizures. She still wouldn't call me back. Most unprofessional office I've ever been to. Dr. herself is uncaring and irresponsible. Letter of concern I sent to her got intercepted and dumped by office personnel.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
