I have 2 children who saw him as a PCP. When we swapped there was a severe lack of medical documentation after 8 years of visits. Several times behaviors and symptoms were ignored, forcing us to seek different opinions. I will not be going back ever again.

We moved away from Anderson about a year ago, and I have to say that one of the main things I miss, is the care that Dr. Maddox, Tammy and the other staff provided our boys. Dr. Maddox was our pediatrician for the 10 years we lived in the Anderson area. Dr. Maddox always provided excellent medical treatment and advice with a calm reassuring bedside manner! Tammy, Dr. Maddox’s nurse, was so professional and helpful! She always returned phone calls to answer any questions or would quickly get back to me with the response from Dr. Maddox if needed! She is awesome! Not only did they provide great medical care, but I always felt that they truly cared ABOUT our boys and treated them how they would want their own children to be treated! If you are looking for a pediatrician for your children-I highly recommend Dr. Maddox! Thank you, Dr. Maddox and Tammy!!!

Dr. Maddox is extremely rough and pinned my 2.5 year old to a table to look in her ears. No other doctor has ever done that she just lets them look. He talks to parents and his nurse staff like they are idiots. Beyond rude!

Dr. Maddox listens to what I have to say as a parent and takes that into consideration when treating my daughter. He is always rushed and I wish he would take a little more time to explain things. Overall, he is a good doctor and I trust him with my daughters care and feel that he has her best interest at heart.
