Dr.Strathern performed surgery on me 11/21.Being almost 70 and new to any type surgery,I had some trepidation.Immediately after my first visit with him,I was totally at ease.Polite,intelligent,and great surgeon.

He did my colonoscopy and was very professional and made me feel at ease.

My sister went to this doctor after having been sent there from her family doctor due to obvious gallbladder issues. To say she received some of the worst care I’ve heard of is an understatement, I’d give this man 0 stars if possible. He actually told her “you have a good story,” as if her experiencing constant vomiting was a nonissue and merely a “story.” To display such a lack of care to patients indicates that he obviously has chosen the wrong career path, in my opinion. She has now went to a different hospital and thankfully gotten the care that his office was clearly not able to provide, and is going to be getting the surgery she needed all along

I'm happy with him. He saved my life when I had a cecal volvulus.

Rude and unkind. Had little concern for me and my issues and made me feel stupid as to why I was referred.

I was diagnosed with a colovesical fistula by a NP in Seneca and referred to Dr. Strathern. He calmed my fears before the surgery and was very good post-op as well. He listened and answered my questions. I'm so much better now and so thankful I was referred to him. Job well done!

I was very impressed with both Dr. Strathern and Anmed. Dr. Strathern was friendly and explained everything. I would highly recommend him.

The worst experience with a doctor ever. i have staph infection in my arm pit and it is super painful. Dr didn't do anything. Asked me when it started and who referred me. Then called a nurse to remove bandage and look at it - the nurse looked at it not him. Said I needed more antibiotics and to come back in 2 days. What a waste of my time and money not to mention he did nothing to ease my mind that I have a serious infection or what to expect.

I thought I was a bother to him while in the hospital. He was going to send me home. I asked for a second opinion and he told me the following...A GI could not tell me anything more than he already had. His partner would be on the floor tomorrow and that could be my second opinion. Just not good on the bedside manner. I am not even sure how long it took him to compare the CT Scan and the x-ray. Maybe I am being a little too critical, but I felt he was not concerned with me and need for answers.

Referred by Anderson Radiology or my PCP. Waited an hour. Hadn't looked at my test results and asked me why I was there. Told him my ultrasound result had come back abnormal. Told him that Anderson Radiology did my ultrasound, he said that they find something on everyone's ultrasound because they have a history of being unreliable. He acted like I was stupid and wasting his precious time. IF HE HAS A PROBLEM WITH AND. RADIOLOGY OR MY PCP, HE SHOULD TELL THEM!! NOT TAKE IT OUT ON THE PATIENT!!!
