List of David Wortham's Reviews
Staff was so friendly and helpful. This is my 2nd colonoscopy with Dr. Wortham. I would highly recommend him and his staff.
***DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT TRUST OR GO SEE THIS DOCTOR*** Dr Wortham used to be a good gastro Dr to see but he and his staff have become lazy and complacent with their patients health. Recently I came in to see a nurse practioner Amanda Couch who TOTALLY disregarded what I said and sent me away. My family doctor diagnosed my issue and I went back to see Dr Wortham who placed me on medication. After having a reaction to the meds I tried to contact Dr Wortham and was placed on hold several times over two days. When I got thru I was was lied to by the nurse and told I could come up there at 230 the next day to talk about it. If you like lazy doctors or lazy nurse staff and people who dont care about your pain, BY all means these are the doctors for you
I did not see the Doctor only the nurse practitioner, I don’t think she heard a word I said, ran unnecessary but expensive tests on me. Never resolved my problem.
He is a wonderful doctor god bless him he really cares about his patients!
clinical and in a hurry, doesn't listen well, not focused on what he was doing
I’ve been coming here since July Never get a chance to see the Dr it’s always the NP. She has ran so many tests on me and everything comes back fine. She always looks confused but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
Really long wait time and it's very cold! It's winter and it's freezing in the office
I went for a regular Endoscopy check up because I have Barrett’s esophagus disease. After the procedure he told me that I did not have the disease. Then recently in my chart I found the pathology report that not only said that I have that that he was supposed to do it ASAP follow up because of high dysplasia and other things going on that were not good. Never received a call back filled out their survey asked for a callback never received that then got a letter from insurance company where I was being billed $250 because they didn’t pre authorize my procedure. I am so disappointed in the medical here in South Carolina.
They seem to be fine but I think very unprofessional.I went there 2 months ago for acid reflux.diagnosed me by only what I was telling them, without actually checking themselves.a week later my esophagus was being widened and now I’m having breathing issues.I’ve been to the emergency room and everywhere else cause now I’m dealing with anxiety due to my swallowing. They run test continue to tell me I’m fine.they always seem confused when you speak to them about your issue, and constantly tell you to go to the ER,instead of helping you resolve it.Dr wortham never follows up with you at all.this place is sad
They do a fine job with GI stuff. My big gripe is they submitted info to my insurance wrong and it cost me an extra $850 out of pocket this year. That hurt during the pandemic when the wife was out of work. So keep an eye on your bills.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
