My experience has always been professional with a super helping of kindness. Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Lingerfelt is amazing. She is patient, she listens, you know and feel she truly cares. A huge Thank You to the staff for always making me feel comfortable and welcomed
Been using Dr. Spencer for a couple of years now since I moved to Anderson from Greenville. She has always answered my questions and always been very professional. She convinced me to stop smoking after 38 years and prescribed me the medication to help with that. I never thought I would quit smoking but here I am smoke free. Thank you.
THEY canceled MY appointment then tell me I’m a “no show”. Nurse at the front desk had an ugly attitude and acted as if she didn’t know how to do her job. Happy to say that I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I set up a new appointment for my annual physical. I saw the nurse practitioner and she scheduled my annual preventive care appointments. Preventive care is covered in full by my insurance provider. Two weeks later I receive a bill for my initial visit. I called my insurance provider to find out why this appointment was not covered. Found out my initial visit was coded for something that was not classified as preventive so the insurance company rejected it. I was not seen for what the visit was coded for. I called the office about the mistake and was told that my initial visit was not considered preventive. I planned on talking with the nurse practitioner at my next appointment that was scheduled later that week. The day before my appointment I receive a call canceling my appointment the next day as the nurse practitioner would not be there. They also left a message in my MyChart file. Today I received a warning letter in the mail saying I no showed for an appointment and after three no shows they will dismiss me as a patient. An appointment they canceled!!!! Lakeside, save yourself the trouble and confusion as I will dismiss myself from your practice. I would not recommend Lakeside to anyone.
Probably the worst PCP experience ever. Can't get anyone on the phone; if you do, no return calls. I get a message several times a year that my PDP plan can't get refill authorizations. Beyond frustrated and looking for a new provider....
Since DR Franks and Dr Boyer Left this placed has changed and not for the good. The new ones do not want to help or do not have the time it is pretty much you came in you leave come again in 6 months so we can make more money
I love the staff and Dr Moore is the best Doctor I've ever had! He actually listens and is never inpatient. He really is a caring Doctor!
I love all the staff here and my family doctor is the best there is.
I'm just placing a note of information: not taking new patients (called in 12/2019), as a practitioner is retiring and another is leaving the practice. They say they don't have a way to keep a waiting list. We need more physicians' offices on the far west side of Anderson county! Left a 5 star rating just as a placeholder, so as to not bring down their ratings by posting this information.
I loved my previous PCP but when she retired, I got Jill Spencer. I will not honor her with the prefix of Dr. as from day one felt she was just going through the motions until her retirement. As an older patient with underlying health issues I found her failure to answer my calls regarding Covid-19 symptoms very disconcerting. After speaking with 5 people in that office, and not getting any advice, I ended up going to urgent care. I was given an appointment to be tested and ended up being admitted into the hospital. I have since changed my PCP and when asked why by my new doctor, he was understandably upset that this had taken place. Would not recommend this office until they get younger, and more caring, doctors.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
