I highly recommend Dr. Hunter Hsu to anyone who desires the best possible surgery and care available for knee replacement. He spent time explaining every detail of the operation and answering any and all questions that I had before and after my surgery. Dr. Hsu is not only an extremely qualified surgeon who specializes in knee and hip, he loves what he does and cares about the quality of his surgeries right down to the most minimal scaring possible. Dr. Hsu uses a robotic-assisted joint replacement for precise surgical incisions. I could walk with a walker and even climb up and down a short flight of steps within hours after my surgery. Within three weeks, I was walking normally. The x-rays of my knee before and after surgery were remarkable! My leg bones have never looked so perfect and straight. Dr. Hsu has a dedicated staff support system. Before my surgery, I accumulated a binder full of information about what to expect before and after my surgery and what I would need to help me recover at home. Someone was always available to help or answer questions by phone or text or through the patient portal. I received a list of phone numbers for nurses, contacts at the hospital, his staff, physical therapy and even social services. I completely trust Dr. Hunter Hsu for any orthopedic surgeries that I might need in the future and have referred him to family and friends. Thank you, Dr. Hsu!

I rarely take the time to give reviews, but I feel compelled to do so. I was referred to Dr. Hunter Hsu for total knee replacement. I was in extreme pain and was apprehensive about the surgery. When I met Dr. Hsu, my anxiety lessened considerably. He took much time answering my questions and outlined the entire process. I knew that I was in capable hands. The surgical procedure went very well. I would not mislead anyone; it is a painful process. Dr. Hsu’s medication regimen kept me comfortable and able to do the rehabilitation, which it is crucial in recovery. I am one-year out from surgery. I have zero pain. Since the day I first met with Dr. Hsu, the entire experience has been flawless. He truly gave me my life back! I will forever be grateful!

To this point, I could not be more pleased with with my experiences with Dr Hsu, which began with a consultation and eventually ended (18 months later) with me choosing him for my total knee replacement. In consultation he has been so clear in his explanations and patiently thorough answering my questions. I am 3 weeks post-op and all my physical therapists so far have raved about the recovery to this point. Now, it is not an easy recovery but all I can ask is to do better than expected.

Dr. Hsu was excellent during the whole process of my hip surgery. He educated me before my surgery as well as what to expect after the surgery. He and his staff took time to answer all questions that I had. Also the post surgery follow up was excellent as far as all details were concerned. So, nothing but high praise s for him and his team

I had a total hip replacement in August 2022 with Dr. Hunter Hsu and this was my first surgery experience with anyone. I could not have asked for a better experience before, during and after surgery with Dr. Hsu and his staff. Dr. Hsu is very knowledgeable in his field but his explanation of the procedure was easy to understand and was exceptional in making myself feel at ease from start to end through this procedure. The local community should feel lucky to have access to this practice.

Dr. Hsu is very easy to talk to and always makes me feel comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and is an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends for their orthopedic needs!

Dr. Hsu is a wonderful surgeon in every way! I had both hips replaced by him and my recovery was faster than everyone and I expected, thanks to his technique and talent. I HIGHLY recommend him! We are so fortunate to have him (AND all of the AnMed system) in Anderson.
