I have been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoid Cancer, and was introduced to Dr. Nayak in August of 2022. I have found him to be thorough, straight forward and very kind. He knows I google info and expects no less from me. I am walking an unknown path with this cancer but he answers my questions and listens to me. I am thankful that I have him as my oncologist. And I love his accent. :)

Dr. Nayak has been with me since the beginning of my cancer journey 5 years ago. He and his team are caring and compassionate. He has stepped outside of the box to be sure I had opportunities to have the best treatments. I have extreme peace knowing I am in the hands of a Doctor that I completely trust with my life. I have recommended him to several friends who have been thankful they were able to become his patient. I am chemo for life and Dr. Nayak makes sure it is a good life. I am thankful God put him in my path.

Dr. Nayak is a wonderful dr. He is always smiling and answers all my questions.he and his staff and all the nurses has always treated me with care and loving kindness. What a wonderful place to be if you have the dreaded cancer. Thanks to god and all the care I received I am still alive. I will always be thankful.

Dr Nayak has been my husband’s oncologist since February 2018. When we were told that Tommy had lung cancer we were shocked and scared. Dr Nayak went over his plan of action to fight and defeat his cancer. By Gods Grace my husband has been cancer free for over 3 years. Dr Nayak stays on top of his scans and bloodwork. We feel that Dr Nayak and his wonderful staff truly care about each and every patient and their families. If you find yourself needing an oncologist Dr Nayak and his staff will go above and beyond to help you.

I feel my dad would had lived much longer by looking at his MyChart. For one his diabetes was always high and he never ate ? Why wasn't insulin administered ? Two the dietrician said if he did not begin to eat that he could have a feeding tube which to my understanding Dr agreed .Why wasn't it ever done he and we all agreed to it ? I also told the advocate many times he needed be tested for covid never done as it had similar characteristics. And was told he would live with treatment for maybe up to two years . When I asked without was told two months . But he didn't even make it to two months . So why was none of these promises such as feeding tube done when yall the one who suggested it . And I just feel lied to and like my advocate didn't even tell y'all my concerns as what I thought may work . I am confused and a hurt daughter now . He should been admitted not sent home the way he was and died the same day of the shot to raise wbc. I for the life of me don't know why the feeding tube was not inserted the first hospital admission as we talked about a floor Dr let him go and it should been up to Dr nyak not a floor Dr . Now I am a child that doesn't have a father he basically starved to death . Why was none of this done as promised.

Dr.Nayak, is such a wonderful person. Very knowledgeable and very straight to the point. I have not had a better caring doctor in my life. He saved my life. He worked closely with my surgeon, Dr. Baker in Charlotte. He always answered the questions and was very honest. Pushed me to my limit but he knew what the rewards were going to be. I would suggest him to anyone that had pancreas cancer or any other cancer. Always a smile on his face, asking about my family. I could ask as many questions and he was so patient always. Made the appointment that I needed for my CT scans, bloodwork, appointments with any other doctors including my radiation. He’s the best. He’ll always be in my heart. I drive 30+ minutes so I can see him. he’s the best !! Thank you for everything.
