After having a CT scan for a suspected kidney stone, I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in the opposite kidney! I was referred to Dr. Larson and he felt that I was a great candidate for the DaVinci robotic surgery and explained at length just what that would entail and answered all my questions. Dr. Larson expertly performed my surgery and he was able to save 60% of my kidney. It has been a year and a half since that surgery and I have had no problems whatsoever and I thank Dr. Larson at my follow up appointments for his excellent care!!

My husband Ricky Franks went to Dr Larson. He was found to have prostate cancer. Dr Larson took him under his wing and performed the surgery. He removed his prostate and got all the cancer. Ain't God Great! Not only is he a wonderful surgeon but a wonderful man. He took his time to personally comfort me because I was extremely upset and nervous for my husband. He reassured and comforted my husband through it all. His bedside manner is BY FAR the best from any doctor or surgeon I have seen in Anderson. THE BEST and I have personally had seven surgeries here in Anderson and they were good but, didn't come close to Dr Larsons skills and bedside manner. I appreciate him more than anyone will know. As does my husband. I can't express enough how his words got us through the most difficult time we had ever been threw. My husband said if it wasn't for Dr Larson and his reassurance that he would not of mentally gotten threw this. God has blessed him with not only amazing surgical hands and knowledge but he has a gift with how he speaks to you. It is soothing, it is comforting it is reassuring but it is also a matter of fact that this is what is happening.And I know this isn't really important but he wears the coolest shoes I've ever seen any doctor/surgeon wear. Thank you God for putting him in our path. I surely hope Dr Larson gets to see his reviews so he knows how loved, respected and appreciated he truly is.
