I went to care connect for Chest pains on Monday. I told the lady at front desk, the nurse, and Dr. BAKER I was having chest pains. Never once was my chest pains addressed at all by anyone. I was continually ask about COVID19. I had no fever no symptoms at and still don't have any. He was adamant I had COVID19 only after listening to my lungs. He said I had wheezing in my rt. Lung. And real sure it was COVID19. Sent me to go be tested for covid. Still never addressed my chest pains. No EKG was ever offered, No stress test, No nothing. Blood work by the nurse to check my thyroid. To top it all off they put on my discharge papers I came in for shortness of breath and fatigue! Which is false! I came in with chest pain! Never had shortness of breath and still don't. In his nots he put he observed coughing! Once again another LIE! I never coughed at all. And still haven't! They just want you to be a statistic so they get money! Please Do Not Go to see Dr. J Mark Baker at care connect!

I have seen Dr Baker a a couple times of times. Never have enjoyed him. He rushed through, and And obviously does not care about your visit. This time I went in for a sore throat and he said the nurse would be right back the strep test Take 5 minutes. I was confused so I waited 15 minutes no one came, then I went out and talked to the nurse and she said that he never ordered a strep test be done so she went ahead and did it it was ridiculous the communication that he has with his staff.

I have had to visit Care Connect twice so far this year. I've been very satisfied with the care and treatment I received from Dr Baker both times. He nailed my illness, prescribed exactly the right meds and within a couple days was feeling like myself again. Hoping if I ever have to go again that I will get to see him. I have full confidence and trust in his abilities as a doctor.

I have seen Dr. Baker twice and that's twice too many! The first time was for a UTI. He gave me medicine that didn't clear it up. Today I saw him for a severe sore throat (I've had strep a bunch and I know exactly what it feels like). I kept telling him that but he refused to run a strep test and didn't give me any medicine at all! He's awful! I will never go back to where he is practicing again for fear of seeing him again. AWFUL!

Dr. Baker and his staff were very friendly, and took the time to answer all my questions, as this was my first visit. I would recommend Colonial Health.
