I am new to the area, and was recommended to this doctor, by a friend that was also a new patient. a call ed to make an appointment, gave them my insurance information, (BCBS), answered a few medical history questions, and was told i would get a call back to let me know if i would be taken or not. i was called back 10 days later and told they cannot take me. Can't be because they aren't taking new patients! They took my friend! Can't be because i don't have insurance. Unacceptable!

I am new to area, and Dr. Farmer was recommended to me by our friend, who also was a new patient to the office. When I called to make an appointment, i was asked for my insurance, and asked some health questions, and was told that They would get back to me if he was able to see me or not. They got back to me 10 days later with a voicemail saying They cannot take me!! Why?? I have a Cadillac insurance plan, so unless they are not taking new patients (Which they are, as my friend was a new patient

I have been seeing Dr. Farmer for almost two years and have found him to be very easy to talk with about any health topic no matter how sensitive the subject matter may be. He is an excellent listener who takes the time to address my concerns. I have never felt rushed nor have I felt he was speaking down to or lecturing me. Overall, I just really like his style. And as an added bonus, his office staff is very friendly.

Doctor Farmer has been the physician for my parents for many years. He spends a great deal of time speaking with them to ensure he covers all their concerns every visit. My parents think the world of Dr. Farmer because he treats them like individuals, not as a number. He shows genuine concern & follows-up as needed. Our entire family hold Dr. Farmer in high esteem.
