He was rude and dismissive towards my mother, did not take time for the patient and did not even try to find the correct diagnosis, wrote it off as a headache & tried to send her home
On November 9, 2014 I was taken to the emergency room because I could not walk without fallen. Dr. Patel was the neurologist I saw in the emergency room and he ordered an mri and a cat scan but he failed to order a simple blood test to check my Dilantin level which he had knowledge of me taking it. I was in the hospital until November 11, 2014. During this whole time it was never checked. When I was discharged I was still unable to walk. On December 23, 2014 I had to go back to the hospital and this time a Dr. Freeman checked my Dilantin level and it was 41.9 which is critical. it should be 10 to 20. Dr. Patel should have atleast checked that level. Him and his group almost killed me and should not be practicing medicine because they are not fit to. Lewis Tollison
I was referred to him by my after he became concerned about some neurological symptoms that he confirmed through exam and testing. My husband and I found him to be unresponsive to our concerns during the initial exam, but he did order a few test. When I met with him 6 weeks later for an EMG He was so BRUTAL and DEMEANING that the technician reported him to the RADIOLOGY ADMINISTRATOR who has assured us is being investigated.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
