I was scheduled for procedure never even met the doctor. The day of my procedure again I never met the doctor. Even after everything was done he never even came in my room. We not told anything about what he found. A nurse doing my discharge told us he took a biopsy. I'm totally not satisfied with his professionalism. I've seen Veterinarians care more for a patient then he does.

Dr. Veera found my cancer of the deodenum in the early stage which saved my life. He is very innovative keeping up with the newest medical procedures. A very kind, caring physician with a great staff.

Dr. Veera was my doctor 19 years ago until I moved out of the area. Now that I am living here again, I transferred back into his care from MUSC. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and truly a leader in his field. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful doctor that is close by.

I have been going to Dr. Veera for about ten years. Until recently I held him in high regard, but no longer. I've been ill for the past two months and all Veera has done is give me laxatives. Today, he has referred me back to my primary care physician, when I obviously have a GI problem. He has given up and refuses to give my problem further examination. He is the most inept doctor I've ever had the misfortune to see. His expertise and dedication to patient well-being are sorely lacking. I cannot recommend this doctor to anyone who needs more than a band aid. I caution any one with a GI problem to seek help with a reputable gastroenterologist. There are many in practice and surely the vast majority of them are better versed in their specialty than this man.

Dr Veera is the best in his specialty. He has treated me for Crohns for several years now. In fact, he is the doctor who diagnosed me. He and his physician's assistant Dipika Patel are highly recommended.

Dr. Veera, I believe, truly cares about his patients - that is my experience. He listens intently, answers all questions, and even has an appropriate sense of humor. His not rushing and being calm helps me to relax and trust him. I was visiting my husband in the hospital recently and Dr. Veera saw me from a distance. He wanted to know what was happening that I was in the hospital. And I have seen him just three times. If you need GI help, get a referral from your PCP and call Dr. Veera.

Dr. Vera has been an answer to prayer for me..He is one of the most caring doctors to be a specialist that I have ever known.
