List of MIchael Grier's Reviews
He has been an amazing pain Dr. One who takes the needed time to help with "your" specific needs. Now that he's been gone, and I've seen other practitioners there, they too have been just as wonderful. Thank God for this pain management facility
I've been going to Dr. Grier for AS in my back for almost a decade now. I take SI shots a couple times per year and Dr. Grier has always gave me perfect, professional, Compassionate treatment. I know that everyone has different experiences when it comes to back pain, but thankfully the treatment and shots have always helped me especially seeing my disease will never get better. Thankfully I have not had to have any surgery yet.
I have been treated by Dr Grier for a number of years for back pain. He listens and asks lots of questions so he gets a better understanding of the issue and your treatment preferences. He has consistently followed my request for no narcotics and no surgery. I have spinal arthritis so the issue is ongoing, but I have gone from not being able to turn over in bed to relatively low pain. I am able to do the things I love like gardening again. He doesn't overschedule so there is little wait time.
Dr Grier explains everything he’s doing. Not one of my many injections caused me any pain and they certainly relieved the pain I was having.
Moved from MI to SC and on my first visit with Dr. Grier, I felt comfortable and confident in his professional knowledge. Through the years Dr. Grier has exemplified commitment to his profession and skill. In my opinion, he is gentle performing procedures, compassionate and assiduous to detail.
I was a patient of his back in 2001, every visit I went to see him all he cared about was insurance and getting paid.his eyes were always glaised over like he was on pills.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Grier for about 15 years. I have fibromyalgia, back and hip problems. He has kept me moving for years.
I went to Dr.Grier for app.1 year.I took a series of spinal injections of 4.After the last spinal shot I could not walk without a walker or help.I could walk alone before I took the shots I did not have any problems walking until Dr.Grier gave me the shots . I don't know exactly what went wrong but something did.The dr.never explained why that happened to me. I dismissed myself a week ago because I accidently got my appt.time wrong.it was at 2 pm and I thought it was at 3 pm.I called them to be late they wouldn't let me see the dr.said I would have to reschedule and I would have to pay $200.00 for missed appt for follow up appt.where I had done xrsys on my arm at anmed.I was to get results of the Cray findings and treatment of my arm not my back. They would not reschedule because I refused to pay for a visit that I did not keep. I do not recommend this dr.they don't care how they left me hanging all they careed about is the money.I will not pay him for missed appt. I wasn't crippled either until I took those spinal shots bad mistake for me. I dont recommend.
I would love to know who you are so I could try to explain what happened to you. I obviously have no idea what might have caused you to get worse; maybe it was something about the injections we did but maybe your condition simply got terribly worse. Just like any other kind of medical specialty, there are certain conditions that we cannot always cure. We see 150-200 patients a day between all the providers in our clinic and yes, if you come an hour late, even if it's not your fault, you'll probably have to reschedule. We do advertise a $200 no-show fee for an injection appointment because for every one we schedule, there are ten more who have been put off until later to give you your turn so we want you to keep your appointment, or at least give us enough notice so we can let someone else who is waiting behind you have their turn. You said your appointment was to discuss your X-ray results. The no-show fee for that kind of appointment is only $35 and most of those are waived if you have any kind of reasonable excuse. In nearly twenty years in practice, I can't remember ever enforcing a $200 no-show fee. Finally, if you go to a lawyer, an accountant, a financial planner or most any other professional and ask them to prepare a signed document for you, they are most likely going to charge you for it. I don't' think $15 is unreasonable. There are a lot of expenses involved in running a medical practice and I can guarantee you, I'm not getting rich on late fees and dismissal letters. Michael T. I saw dr.Grier for app.1 year..I took a series of 4 spinal shots from him last year.I could walk without help before I took the shots. After taking the forth shot I could no longer walk alone.I had to get a walker and a cane and I have to have assistance to walk now..the Dr Grier never explained to me why this happened to me.I was going to let them treat me for my arm hurting a few weeks ago. They sent me to have xray done.I was to follow up with an appt.to get results of xrays that I had done at anmed. My appt.with Dr Grier was at 2pm and I thought it was at 3pm.I tried to come late but they told me I would have to reschedule and pay a fee of $200.00 ..I refused to pay for an appt.where I didn't even see the dr... They would not reschedule me because I didn't pay the 200.00 fee. I SELF DISMISSED last week .I do not recommend this Dr Grier.I wish I had never went to him because I could walk before his shots in my spine. Now I can't walk without help . Its been app.1 year ago since I had the shots and I still can't walk without help. They never explained to me why this happened to me. I don't recommend .Its crazy for them to charge me $200.00 for missed appt and they would not work with me at all.I was left hanging I SELF DISMISSED and they charged me 15.00 just to get 1 paper that said I am released from them.I do not recommend.I wish I had never went.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
