Anmed is a complete joke
I was recently informed that one of my associates was referred to this practice for surgery. According to their personal account, the doctor failed to acknowledge and respect the patient's request to stop and allow them a moment to prepare. Full disregard of the patient's documented psychological needs regarding such an invasive surgery, and refusal to work with the patient for an alternate referral after they expressed they could not work with someone who would not respect their medical and psychological needs before proceeding. I will adjust this review only if and when the practice acknowledges their failure to honor a patient's needs and how they intend to be more conscious of patient needs in the future.
Maybe if a patient starts screaming in pain you should immediately stop what you're doing and take into consideration that pain their under. I've filed a complaint with Amed and I will be meeting with a lawyer as well. A referral to someone more skilled and qualified to handle people with anxiety and PTSD issues from being "violated" was all I asked for after you did what you did. Yes, I read my chart and saw where you put that in quotes. Your apology was not sincere and you showed no compassion whatsoever.
He was very professional while explaining everything and showing me on the scan where my problem was. Before and after surgery he checked on me and answered all my questions. Follow up visits were handled in the same manner. I would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Frassinelli is by far the best. My mother Louise Madden age 90 depends on his expertise. Dr, Frassinelli there is no pressure. Mama is blessed just because you give her a few extra years with us. We have complete confidence that you will do it again. Thank You for being her guiding light of a doctor. We love you!
Dr. Frassinelli performed my surgery in November 2019. Once the healing process was complete, I have felt like a brand new person. All of my painful issues have disappeared & I've never felt better. So many positive things I can say about him and his staff. They welcome you with open arms, everyone is so pleasant & kind. Dr. Frassinelli is genuinely concerned about your well being. He is very thorough and listens to what you have to say and addresses all issues. He has a very pleasant bedside manner & treats you like a person not just a patient. I highly recommend this office! Thanks to Dr. Frassinelli & his staff for giving me a new lease on life!
He did my hernea repair surgery and did a great job. Only had really bad pain for 3 days and after that I didn't need any kind of pain meds. Super nice guy and informative. Thanks Doc!
He is a fantastic doctor and is efficient informative and he explained everything about the ct scan that you could tell what was wrong. I am so grateful that he was my doctor. He is the very best. Roney Pyron Anderson SC
I was very pleased that my family care doctor was able to get me a swift appt with this surgeon. I was told that he is very good repairing hiatal hernias with minimal invasive surgery. The reviews I read seemed positive as far as professionalism , expertise, compassion etc. Unfortunately; this was not my experience! He came in with a general practitioner , for which I do not know if he was a resident etc I have nothing against residents or doctors exploring a further degree in a specialty, just to make that clear! However; I was not asked if this would be okay with me? I tried to overlook that aspect. If it means anything, I am a disabled, retired, registered nurse? I have personally watched how many physicians practice. I practiced 20 yrs as a RN, and practiced 10 yrs as a nurse technician. I had to have 9 abdominal surgeries due to a drunk driver. The last one was in 2008, by a general surgeon @ Emory hospital in Atlanta GA. He has been in practice just as long as this doctor, and is the Chief surgeon, as well as the head professor @ Emory Medical University. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! First off, he did absolutely no tests for my complaints. 2nd he made the judgement by lightly palpitating my abdomen, and did not listen to bowel sounds, at all! He diagnosed me as having no evidence of anything wrong with me . 3rd he also refused to look at 2 business size , manilla envelopes full of medical records! 4th he would not even offer to call my previous surgeon to ask his experience during my last surgical procedure. His bedside manner was totally unacceptable for anyone! He was very cold, quick to try,and dismiss my experience as a patient, and a retired nurse. He also became very argumentative with me in front of this other practitioner and my spouse. I then stated to my husband that I no longer wanted to discuss anything with this doctor. My spouse agreed with my decision, and felt that this was not professional, or a surgeon that he wanted to be a caregiver to me. We both told this surgeon that we would return to my previous surgeon @ Emory in Georgia, even though both of my insurance policies do not cover this surgeon since I am a resident of Townville , SC . Doctor Frassinelli is a general surgeon @ Anmed in Anderson SC. If respect and compassion, as well as skills ,matter to you? I suggest that you ask your referring physician for a different surgeon!

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
