I went and it was such a horrible experience I left in tears and NEVER went back. There is to much to explain but it was just awful. I know it’s not just me bc after talking to others I found out I along with 3 others had the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE and they left and never went back again also. He was at first nice and seemed like it would go great but at one point he started assuming things and accusing me of stuff that was ludicrous. I had previously went to a dr for years and never had a single interaction or issue like this. He retired and therefore my reasoning for trying this doctor.

I finally found a Dr who knows what he's doing and genuinely cares about the care of his patients. Definitely a great psychiatrist. I've been a patient since 2019 and have absolutely no complaints. Recommended for sure.

The entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so professional and helpful. From the minute you walk into the office Savannah and Christian make you feel at ease . Making the decision to seek help with can be difficult. I went through the TMS treatment and it has made a tremendous difference in my life. Kasee is wonderful and makes each visit a joy . Dr. McKenzie is such a wonderful doctor. He has helped me through so many difficult situations. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. McKenzie has gone out of his way to help me get my medicine right! The whole staff is amazing!! Highly recommend this office. Betsy is an amazing therapist also! TMS is really helping me!

Dr. McKenzie is a wonderful doctor. He is not a pill pusher. He listens and gives me the tools I need to deal with situations and/or anxiety that I may be dealing with. If you’re just looking for someone to write you a prescription for a benzo, he’s not your doctor, but if you want someone who is really trying to help you, he’s it! Everyone in the Anderson office has been wonderful and so nice. I’m thankful that my family doctor referred me to this doctor.

Very kind, compassionate and caring doctor. I highly recommend Dr. McKenzie and the Anderson office. He’s not a pill pusher. He listens to me and gives me the tools to help deal with my anxiety and my grief. If you’re looking for a doctor to write you a prescription for unlimited benzos, he’s not the one for you but if you truly want help, get a referral and give him a try.

He understood my fear of being overmedicated and going numb (courtesy of my last psych) and is always careful with what and how much he is prescribing. He always returns my calls by the end of the day. He can also get me in for an appointment very quickly and offers telehealth. ALWAYS on time too. I can’t think of a time I waited for more than 5 minutes. I would recommend Dr McKenzie to everyone in need of stabilizing and progressing for mental health conditions. My quality of life has improved drastically since seeing Dr McKenzie.

thank you. I like that they don’t push pills, like that they also provide therapy and recommend books and apps for depression, very eclectic approach, not like an average psychiatrist’s office. Clean offices and prompt response.
